Regarding the availability of travel sizes, is it my recency bias or are there actually more travel sizes available these days? I can’t recall there being so many options for purse sprays 10 years ago for designer, much less niche.
And regarding the smaller = cheaper idea, smaller also means more variety. I recently bought roll ons of the EdP and EdT Gucci Guilty Pour Femme….did I need both? No. Do I wear them often enough to justify both? No. Would I have purchased both in a full bottle? Nope. Did I spend $80 anyway on two things instead of one? Yes. I did.
I think there are way more small sizes for designer & mass, only somewhat more for niche.
And yes, you can just buy more! The fact that Hermes does sets of 4 x 15 ml goes a long way towards explaining why I own more Hermes than any other brand.
