Financial terms of the all-cash transaction were not disclosed, but industry sources estimate it was for approximately $1.5 billion.

That article in the link makes very interesting reading. We had a documentary shown here in the UK relatively recently called Kingdom Of Dreams – all about the Bernard Arnault & Francois-Henri Pinault rivalry – their very different backgrounds, their approach to their respective businesses – it was excellent viewing & I would recommend it highly to anyone interested in this sort of thing.

Maybe Kering will do some work on Creed’s formulations so that different batches of the same fragrance don’t smell like totally different fragrances. Then Aventus fans won’t have to keep hunting down specific batch codes to get a decent bottle ! LOL
