French niche line Memo has launched the Étoiles filantes (shooting stars) collection with two new fragrances, Honey Dragon and Lyra Peach.
Honey Dragon ~ "Designed to unfold like the eponymous ribbon of stars in the northern sky, the Draco eau de parfum by Memo Paris is a fresh explosion of scents on the skin. The celestial constellation lights up the dark sky like the breath of a fire-breathing dragon, and this fiery display acts as the heart of the brand's parfum. Fusing spicy black pepper with aromatic cinnamon, it tickles the sense with its fragrant notes. Spray yours on before nights of star gazing; just make sure you have the telescope at the ready." Developed by perfumer Aliénor Massenet; additional notes include bergamot, mandarin, thyme, olibanum, myrrh and vanilla.
Lyra Peach ~ "The Lyra constellation is a small cluster in the northern sky, a collection of stars discovered by an Egyptian astronomer in the second century. Paying homage to this glittering array, Memo Paris launches the Lyra Peach eau de parfum with its symbolic celestial pattern stamped at the front of the bottle. Infused with earthly ingredients of jasmine, tuberose, and spices, it's an olfactory interpretation of the infamous terrestrial wonder." Developed by perfumer Marypierre Julien; additional notes include bergamot, bitter orange, cinnamon, cardamom, curcuma, pink peppercorn, ginger, peach, davana, sandalwood, vetiver, akigalawood, georgywood, cedarwood, vanilla and benzoin.
Memo Honey Dragon and Lyra Peach are available at Selfridges in the UK, in 75 ml Eau de Parfum, £230 each.

Okay but Xerjoff already has a Shooting Stars collection.Fun idea but can we have fun and maybe….fresh ideas?
Fair enough! I don’t think of Memo and Xerjoff as operating in the same sphere so to speak (by which I really mean, being sold in the same stores & whatnot), but maybe by now they do, I have not been paying enough attention to distribution.
