French house Chopard has launched Cedar Malaki, a new fragrance in the series that began with 2012's Oud Malaki. The latest in the series was 2020's Black Incense Malaki.
A sensual ode to the greatness of cedar, one of the world’s oldest olfactive ingredients, the Chopard Cedar Malaki eau de parfum uses the tree oil as its founding base. Complemented with notes of grapefruit and lavender to temper the intense woody bouquet, the scent utilises two different varieties of cedarwood – the Atlas cedar and the cedar of Lebanon.
Cedar Malaki was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas. Additional notes for the woody fragrance include cypress, sage, cardamom, tonka bean, patchouli, cypriol, labdanum and woody leather.
Chopard Cedar Malaki is available in 80 ml Eau de Parfum.
