French niche line Jardins D’Écrivains has launched Peau d'Âne, a new unisex fragrance inspired by the French fairytale Donkey Skin, published by Charles Perrault in 1695.
Charles Perrault 1628/1703
A magical and surreal perfume with the chroma color of time, sprinkled with flour. Beneath a suave and animal skin reveals a phosphorescent heart. Supernatural elements exhales a kind of an anchronistic and enchanting tale.
Additional notes include lime, iris, turpentine, carrot seed, labdanum, flour, suede, cedar and patchouli.
Jardins D’Écrivains Peau d'Âne is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €90.

It’s not quite a typo Robin, but in the first sentence it says …”based on the a French fairytale…”
It should be either “the French fairytale”, or “a French fairytale”.
Thank you Jalapeno!
Well that sounds original at least.
A lot of their fragrances do, and I have liked the few I’ve tried…but I’ve only tried a fraction of their output.
What a dreadful fairytale! What a strange story for them to highlight!
