Earlier this year, UK-based perfumer Ruth Mastenbroek launched the Magic of Nature collection, with three new layerable fragrances: Gaia, Marlin and Zephyr.

Gaia (Chamomile Moor) ~ "Gaia roams the moors of the Norfolk Broads in zen-like tranquillity. In carefree contentment, Gaia enjoys the moment, sipping on the calming nectar of Chamomile." With bergamot, rosemary, rosewood,  chamomile, green tea, freesia, tonka bean, vetiver and white musks.

Marlin (Lavender Dune) ~ "Marlin can be found rolling around the coastal dunes of Kent. Grounded and chilled, easy-going Marlin loves nothing better than to kick back and watch the ocean waves roll in." With armoise, bergamot, thyme, lavender, plum, amber, atlas cedar, fir needle and tonka bean.

Zephyr (Forest Mint) ~ "Zephyr is crisp and clean, energising and refreshing those in its path. Luminescent and shimmering, Zephyr can be found in a Hampshire forest floating on the breeze." With peppermint, grapefruit, blackcurrant, mint stem, galbanum, clove leaf, oakmoss, sandalwood and musk.

Ruth Mastenbroek Gaia, Marlin and Zephyr are available in 30 ml Eau de Toilette, £65 each.
