A collector bottle for Maison Francis Kurkdjian's latest, 724: "Urban landscapes and their surrounding architecture overtly influenced the aesthetic of this musky floral eau de parfum, available in a limited-edition gift set of which only 165 pieces are available worldwide. I mean… if you really love the scent, and if presentation is important to you, $550 is not an obscene amount of money for something like this. Not that I ever would, because no scent is worth that to me, but I wouldn’t judge someone for splurging. (And it sure doesn’t sound like my kind of thing anyway: “a universe of whiteness”? Nah, I’m good, thanks.)
Everything is relative, I guess. It seems insane to me but obviously there are many more expensive luxury projects.
The few comments I’ve seen on the scent have not sounded compelling…
Just for a lucky few I guess.
Bottle looks plain but terribly chic. Juice is not groundbreaking, still easy to wear, for everyday use,but for the price I will stick to the original bottle
I agree it does look chic.
Capable artisans? That sounds awfully normal.
I agree, all the craftmanship goes into the blue ribbon!
Agree. But my mind always flips to the opposite wording. “Incapable artisans.”
But thank goodness, they were at least capable.
LOL…thank you, this whole bit made me laugh.
Bof. Not very exciting visually, plus I’ve smelled the perfume and it’s a shrieking extrait de laundry detergent.
Which, honestly, is probably what makes it appropriate for urban landscapes. Expensive laundry detergent fragrances from niche brands seem to be all the rage.
