Penhaligon's will launch Legacy of Petra, a new fragrance in the brand's Trade Routes Collection. The last in the series was Constantinople.
Zesty, herby goodness all wrapped up in an exclusive golden bottle, Penhaligon’s bergamot, liquorice and myrrh scent is a sure-fire showstopper.

Desert winds can lead a daring nose to all manner of wonders, where sun-baked stone temples are kissed by sunrise and passages riddled with perfume.
Presenting, the Legacy of Petra! Penhaligon's premiere fragrance starring myrrh, green tea and bergamot.
A scent of warm desert winds and golden amber sands define Petra. A vivacious performance by fennel is herbaceous yet sweet whilst bright bergamot is complimented with a fragrant trail of nostalgic green tea. But the leading star is undoubtedly myrrh.
Additional notes include rosemary, liquorice wood, incense, belambre and vanilla.
Penhaligon's Legacy of Petra will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Any general thoughts about their Trade Routes collection?
I got nothing. Kevin reviewed 2 of them, some years ago:

I’ve tried quite a few of them, they are all the sort of spicy perfume I like, but none of them were a love. They seemed vey similar to other things I’d tried. However, I’m still keen to try this one.
