Diptyque has launched Opsis, a new fragrance inspired by the theater.
A scent that captures the electrifying atmosphere of an evening at the theatre in 1920s London
Diptyque's Opsis eau de parfum – translating to ‘spectacle’ in Greek – sees the label draw inspiration from a painted portrait depicting one of the label’s founders, Desmond Knox-Leet, at the theatre. Opening notes of soft musk and smokey incense capture the powdery aroma of make-up intermixed with perfume, recalling the unique scent of the star’s dressing room, while glimmering flashes of bergamot evoke the bright spotlights that illuminate the main stage.
Additional notes include iris.
Diptyque Opsis is available at Harrods in the UK, £185 for 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
