In July, Portland-based ice cream company Salt & Straw will introduce a second collaboration with indie brand Imaginary Authors. The three fragrances — A Cloud of Cocoa, A Plume of Blossoms and A Swoon of Citrus — can be worn as personal fragrances or sprayed on ice cream.
A Cloud of Cocoa ~ with Ecuadorian chocolate, malted milkshake and Japanese whiskey.
A Plume of Blossoms ~ with honeysuckle, jasmine and wild country garden.
A Swoon of Citrus ~ with key lime pie, lychee and Italian lemon grove.
Salt & Straw A Cloud of Cocoa, A Plume of Blossoms and A Swoon of Citrus will be $65 each for 65 ml, or in a coffret with all three in 10 ml for $48.

😱 A. Coffret ❣️
🙂
Yay for a coffret!
AND you can spray it on ice cream?!? I might have to get the coffret…I wasn’t able to go to S&S when I visited Portland (line was unreal and we had time constraints) so maybe I’ll get that instead.
Spraying it on ice cream is the main purpose, this time…that is what they were developed for.
Oh, I missed the part about spraying it on anything other than oneself. Not sure how I feel about that…🤔
I feel like I don’t like it. Lol
Well, I routinely dab vanilla extract behind my ears when I’m baking, so I reckon I can get behind it!
Aftelier also makes some flavor sprays, they’re really wonderful and was just thinking I should get more. NEVER thought to spray them on ice cream but now I feel like it was a missed opportunity.
There is a S&S near the hospital I’m currently at. Some very interesting flavors! I stuck with the predictably good chocolate, which was nice but not really worth the $9 price tag.
A Swoon of Citrus really sounds appealing to me. Wish you could buy one 10ml instead of the entire coffret…
Visit the S&S when in Portland. But yes lines crazy long and very expensive. Really good, but sometimes wonder if maybe a little overhyped.
They are in Seattle now. On Cap Hill and in Ballard. Too far for me to travel just for a cone. But we have Husky’s and Full Tilt in West Sea and Molly Moon’s is now in the grocery stores. So yay!
Will get a the coffret as these sound delicious.
Husky Deli! One of the best things about West Seattle! I still remember one cold, windy, rainy Seattle evening when the power had gone out in quite a few West Seattle neighborhoods – but there was a line out the door for ice cream at the Husky Deli!
Shouldn’t the choice be between coffret, cone or dish?
🤣
Oooo hello my July birthday… These could be fun for a small party to spray on vanilla ice cream as a base for a taste test. My perfum-obsessed 6 year old would love it.
