British niche line Ormonde Jayne will launch Gatsby 22, a new fragrance, in July.
Inspired by the nostalgic era of stylish pearls, tailored jackets and dancing to jazz, perfumer Linda Pilkington introduces her latest creation, Gatsby 22.
Gatsby 22 is confident, edgy and sophisticated. A boisterous burst of Sicilian lemon and bergamot penetrates the senses, followed by osmanthus, orange blossom and violets to smooth away the sharpness. Notes of vetiver linger on, giving Gatsby 22 true staying power. Wear it anytime, anywhere to make a stylist entrance.
Additional notes include pink pepper, leather accord, tonka bean and musk.
Ormonde Jayne Gatsby 22 will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Doesn’t sound too bad, curious too see how the vetiver will match the citrus and the orange blossom. Could be right up my alley and would definitely like to try this one.
Same…nice to see another osmanthus.
If that leather accord is tame, this is going to be hard to resist.

I’ve tried it. To my nose, it’s kindof a citrus cleaning product at the open, then turns into an undemanding soapy clean light citrus/vetiver. Fine for summer weather. I didn’t get any leather. Yeah I know, not the most rousing of approvals, eh?
In my head the notes read like Bottega Veneta but with citrus and osmanthus. Is it anything like that?
Well, I didn’t detect any leather, so no.

Thanks pixel!!
OJ had a one off, 12 pieces fragrance named The Great Gatsby on 2019, for an exhibition. Looks like they bring this as a regular product now. Props for not being another warehouse xyz exclusive.
