British niche line Ormonde Jayne has launched Gold Elixir, a new limited edition fragrance. Late last year, the brand introduced Ombres Intensivo. Both scents were developed as Fortnum & Mason exclusives.

Its composition is an intricate mosaic of amberesque, gourmande and classic floral notes. Wear it to give you an enticing and mystical presence" With blackcurrant, bergamot, black pepper, saffron, geranium, jasmine, rose, musk, moss, patchouli and vanilla.

Ombres Intensivo ~ "Ormonde Jayne’s Ombres Intensivo is an exquisite fragrance which is faithful to the formula of the bestselling Jardin d’Ombre. Housed in a bespoke gold bottle and poured at the higher concentration of 40% strength, it takes centre stage in the Fortnum & Mason exclusive collection introducing new nuances to this beloved scent. Using high concentrates of sandalwood for softness and patchouli for intense spiciness, Ombres Intensivo contains harmonic notes of flowers, Moroccan rose for sweetness and orange absolute for warmth. The final note is amber for underlying sensuality that serves to fix the whole potion together." Additional notes include bergamot, lime, orris, jasmine, orchid and musk.

Ormonde Jayne Gold Elixir and Ombres Intensivo are £175 each for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
