French perfume house Caron has launched Pour un Homme Le Matin and Pour un Homme Le Soir, two new variations on 1934's Pour Un Homme.
Pour un Homme Le Matin ~ "The morning brings with it a certain hope, evoking the dynamism of a new day beginning. Pour Un Homme de CARON Le Matin, an invigorating fragrance that offers a new freshness to the iconic lavender note found in Pour Un Homme de CARON. CARON’s In-House Perfumer, Jean JACQUES, set himself a challenge: to pay tribute to Pour Un Homme de CARON while respecting its original spirit. Applying innovation to time-honoured tradition. To do this, he combined lavandin from Provence, which grows at low altitude from a traceable supplier, with CO2 ginger extract that has been obtained from a cold extraction process that respects the ingredient and produces a more faithful fragrance than those obtained through traditional extraction methods. The subtle art of variation. Pour un Homme de CARON Le Matin, a modern and generous Eau de Toilette, like a breath of fresh air that lasts until nightfall." Additional notes include bergamot, petitgrain, geranium, patchouli, guaiac wood and oak moss; available in 125 and 200 ml.
Pour un Homme Le Soir ~ "Nightfall brings with it a mysterious air of seduction and intensity. Pour Un Homme de CARON Le Soir, a captivating fragrance that elevates the sensual side of lavender. CARON’s in-House Perfumer, Jean JACQUES, has played on an overdose of two lavender essences, one from the Provence region of France and the other from Bulgaria to reveal their intensity. To further bring out the sensuality in the lavender note, a noble note of oakwood extract has been selected. Sourced from reclaimed Cognac casks, it reveals smokey, woody and intoxicating scents. The almond-like accents of tonka bean and the spicy notes of frankincense complete this intense and captivating trail. Pour Un Homme de CARON Le Soir, an intense Eau de Parfum that offers elegant sensuality. To be worn after dark or whenever you want." Additional notes include cypress, iris, violet leaf, ambroxan and vanilla; available in 75 and 125 ml.
Caron Pour un Homme Le Matin and Pour un Homme Le Soir were developed by perfumer Jean Jacques.
