Yves Saint Laurent has launched Babycat, a new fragrance in the luxury Vestiaire des Parfums series.
No one has gone wilder for the sensual feline flair of the leopard print than Yves Saint Laurent. It was first sighted in the couturier’s collections on a silk dress in 1968.
A sensual reinterpretation of this couture icon revisiting the emblematic woody family and its powerful longlasting trail. Babycat twists the animalic subtly warm suede accord with a suave sensual vanilla, for a sulphurous yet sophisticated scent. A feline pattern a wild fragrance for the unpredictable. Living at the edge of life.
Babycat was developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion. Additional notes include pink pepper, black pepper, elemi, olibanum, saffron and cedar.
Yves Saint Laurent Babycat is available in 125 ml Eau de Parfum.

I like the name, but sulphurous suede/vanilla? Ewwww.
That adjective gave me pause as well.
Ok that part was the only part that interested me!
Now I have the Baby Shark song running though my head, with different lyrics…
Happily I don’t know it so no ear worm 🙂
Kitten with a whip?
I will be surprised if there’s even a whip, but who knows.
I am *loving* the name Babycat!
It’s a great name!
