UK-based indie line Papillon Artisan Perfumes will launch Hera, a new floral fragrance, in May.
Hera is a very special extrait de parfum that I created for my eldest daughter for her wedding day...Named after the Greek goddess of marriage and family, Hera will be an auspicious amulet for Jasmine and her husband to be.
A lush bridal bouquet of the finest orange blossom, jasmine, rose absolutes, narcissus, ylang and ambrette, Hera is a joyful celebration of the most beautiful and prized perfume materials; from the champagne-like top notes of ambrette, to the voluptuous floral middle notes, Hera is the fragrance I have always wanted to make and embraces the vintage style of perfumery that I have become known for.
Additional notes include orris, heliotrope, clary sage, labdanum and musks.
Papillon Artisan Perfumes Hera will be available in 50 ml Extrait de Parfum. It can be pre-ordered now at Indigo Perfumery for $350.

Okay, I guessed $300, it’s actually $350. Still looking forward to it, my husband is buying it for my birthday. 🙂
Just talked to Ann at Indigo, she’s set up a link to pre-order:

Of course it will also be available at Fumerie in Portland and all their other stockists.
Based on the description, am officially jelly—looking forward to hearing more about this one.
It is not cheap. Sounds wonderful though.
My thoughts exactly.
