Promising a "breakthrough in perfumery" (their words, not ours), Ninu is a rechargeable cologne device that can store up to three separate fragrances within its sleek, Italian-designed canister. The product links to its own standalone app, allowing users to select from pre-loaded ratios depending on moods like "Move," "Fresh," and "Sexy." Or, if you're feeling creative, you can concoct original mixes like some kind of nightclub DJ-turned-chemist.
— It is not quite market-ready, and looks like it will come with their own branded fragrance mix. Read more in Ninu might be the world's first 'smart perfume' device at Input.
Why do I think this might go very, very wrong?
Because you’re not foolish?
Sounds like one of those old pens which you could click for different colored inks. Why a three chambered canister needs an app I do not know.
Ha, probably you can buy those pens with an app now, who knows.
OMG! I thought EXACTLY the same thing before I scrolled down to read the comments.
We used to have those pens around my house all the time when I was a kid, as my mom (a nurse) used them at work.
Do they have a scent/mood called Shiftless? If so…… 🙂
🙂
“Sexy” and “Fresh” perfumes? Boring!
They tried too hard to connect two areas of interest.
This is a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
I’d be very curious to learn: 1) Of they ever actually bring this to market, 2) How many units they actually sell. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we never hear from them again.
