Tiffany & Co Wild Iris ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 14 January 2021 16 Comments

Tiffany & Co has launched Tiffany & Co Wild Iris, a new fragrance for women. Tiffany & Co Wild Iris is a limited edition luxury flanker to 2017's Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum.

Introducing a rare and remarkable limited-edition Tiffany fragrance, Tiffany & Co. Wild Iris Parfum. Innovative and intricate in design, this exclusive fragrance is an embodiment of Tiffany’s long-standing heritage and modern creativity.

Tiffany & Co. Wild Iris Parfum opens with vibrant bursts of vert de mandarine that blend with warm rose at the heart and sensual iris butter at the base. Harvested in France during the months of July and August, the iris butter is unique and exclusive to Tiffany, and is obtained through a distinctive hydro-distillation process, ensuring a pure, bright and long-lasting richness.

“This new interpretation can be compared with a high jewelry piece. Each ingredient was carefully selected and crafted into the structure with the idea of creating an elegant and precious scent.” — Daniela Andrier, Master Perfumer of Givaudan

Tiffany & Co Wild Iris is $6500. It is packaged with a hand blown bottle (size unknown), an 18K white gold funnel, and two 25 ml vials. The concentration is Parfum.

Here I was thinking this sounds not too shabby, and I might want to try it. Then I read the price? oops!

? Since the Tiffany Juice is about as interesting as a doormat… This would be a a golden doormat: shiny but not really fulfilling its purpose.

Is that 100 for the perfume and 6400 for the funnel?

Who needs a gold funnel? Throw it out and just sell what’s important-the perfume lol.

Probably. But you’re also paying for the spiffy packaging, don’t forget. The juice I’m sure is a fraction of the cost.

Or not…I don’t know. I don’t find these high prices as funny as I used to.

I just don’t know what other scent would work with the Balenciaga puppy tote and grey Prada sweater? :p

Wow, that price is definitely in keeping with the brand. I’ve not been in Tiffany’s or purchased from them in some time. There’s so many other options these days and I always thought they were overpriced anyway. Of course, that blue box is hard to resist.
