The scents linger in the air

Posted by Robin on 28 February 2020 Leave a Comment

Its scent is held in the half globe, [Roxana Villa] explains as she breathes it in, demonstrating how to smell her perfumes — a process that seems like an art in and of itself.

A walk through a pungent, earthy forest. A chocolate birthday cake. Pipe tobacco. A rose. Winter. The piñon forests of Northern New Mexico.

— From Coming to her senses: Roxana Villa revives the artistry of botanical perfume, a piece about indie botanical line Roxana Illuminated Perfume in the Santa Fe New Mexican.

Pure. Gentle. Comforting.
