Indie brand Imaginary Authors has launched Decisions, Decisions, a new limited edition fragrance. Like the other fragrances in the line, it was inspired by an imaginary book by an imaginary author.
One of the most eccentric and sparkling voices of her generation, Jasmine Duchamp might be best known as the leader of the Wishbone Girls, a young group of activists who met in the basement of her mother’s Tuscaloosa, Alabama nail salon. Inspired by the outlaws seen in the black and white Westerns of her youth, Duchamp developed the smooth yet resilient tone which would reverberate around the world. Marvel at the unconventional thinking behind her most bombastic triumphs and be stunned silent by a breathtaking ending no one could have predicted.
“I know that I should not, and yet I absolutely will. What can I say? I am defenseless when it comes to thrills.”
Wear this powerful fragrance to amplify your brilliance. You are a blessing to the world and now is your time to bloom. Go out there and make it a better place.
The notes include tuberose, sarsaparilla, geranium, labdanum, jasmine, raspberry and sweet suspense.
Imaginary Authors Decisions, Decisions is available at Luckyscent in 14 ($38) and 50 ($95) ml Eau de Parfum. 20% of the proceeds from each bottle sold will be donated to the Black Resilience Fund.

I love Imaginary Authors. While this doesn’t necessarily appeal to me, I’ve been enjoying some of my favorites from the line recently.
I can’t decide if it appeals to me!
This combination of notes sounds just weird enough to be good!
That is just possible.
Arielle Shoshanna’s email says it has a root beer smell. Curious!
Yes, sarsaparilla is one of the notes 🙂
Could just be benzoin.
I think tuberose and root beer could work!
I love root beer smell.
I am wondering what might be in the “Sweet Suspence” accord…. 🙂 It’s odd enough to be interesting, I will try to remember to ask for a sample of it then next time I get something from Luckyscent. Bloom where you are planted. 🙂
One of my favorite Mary Engelbreit quotes!
Hi !
They lost me at raspberry, the same way Cape Heartache lost me at strawberry 🙁
