Tom Ford has launched Bitter Peach, a new fragrance in the Tom Ford Private Blend collection.
A voluptuous lure, Tom Ford Bitter Peach captures nectar-filled flesh at its luscious, bursting peak, where sweet turns suggestive — and addiction is inescapable.
“Explicitly sweet and dangerously voluptuous, Bitter Peach surges with dark, skin-gripping sensuality. Like the full-flavored fruit at its most ripe, the scent is erotic by nature.” — TOM FORD.
The notes include pêche de vigne accord, blood orange, cardamom, heliotrope, davana, rum, cognac, jasmine, sandalwood, benzoin, cashmeran, vanilla, tonka bean, labdanum, styrax and patchouli.
Tom Ford Bitter Peach is available now at Hudson's Bay in Canada, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

This sounds right up my alley. One of these days I’m going to have to crack and actually buy a private blend, I like way too many of them.
I like a small fraction, but even those would break me if I bought all of them 🙂
I have solved this problem by not trying the new ones, ha.
Oooo, I need at sample this. Cardamom and rum! Oh boy.
Does sound tempting. And generally I like his liquor-related fragrances.
I must try this! For all my time as a perfume junky I have looked for the perfect peach scent but nothing has pleased me yet. I have been looking for a sample but prices are currently insane.
Love peach notes and this does sound like a must sniff. Like the bottle too.
This sounds good! I have so far taken a leaf out of Robins book, and not sniffed any for a long time!
Lemming this! I also was immediately attracted to the bottle. It sounds vintage-inspired, and has many of my favorite notes, but I worry a little about the tonka and cashmeran. Those can go sadly barbershop on me. Finally a TF name that is not snarky, unless there is some double meaning I am clueless about. I thought the name was great for a peach perfume.
Well, this didn’t occur to me, but someone on Fragrantica mentioned “bit her peach,” so there’s that.
Sigh, wouldn’t ya know it??? However, as one who has had a peach tree at home, there is a wonderful part of a fresh-picked, free stone white peach, which is the taste of the softly fibrous red case around the stone. It has a delicate, floral-bitter nuance that I hoped this fragrance might be referencing. Sometimes a peach is just a peach, to coin a phrase….
So is this “Call me by your name” in fragrance format?Lol!
What say you,lovetosmellgood??
Ha! That’s exactly what I thought ?
Please, don’t remind me of the peach scene! 🙂
Very clever!
Darn this hobby. Must….have….now…..
Sounds incredible, and I love this color. But the price is so….
Just give it time.. I have no doubt you will find it at one of your magical thrifting places! ?
Hahaha! Very very rarely see the private blends. And there’s such a counterfeit market for Tom Ford I would be skeptical if I did
what fresh hell for my american express card is this?
?
???
Best comment EVER!!??????????
whoa!
???! Thank you apsara, for the laugh! It made my day.
Total LOL ?
I was looking for my fellow TF lover, lillyjo, when reading this ha!
This sounds absolutely AMAZING!!
This may be a dumb question as I don’t own any TF, but anyone know who the perfumer is on this ?
My thoughts are that you may never know. For example, did you know that Christophe Laudamiel was the perfumer for TF Amber Absolute? He was not even told it was being resurrected a few years back. When I asked him why they discontinued it, he said it was because the formula was so thick it kept gumming up the equipment ??♀️.
Hmmmmm.
Oh I do love stone fruit scents in perfume. I even like pear–not a stone fruit, I know. When done well–plum, peach, cherry, mango, raspberry, blackberry–they can be wonderful! Several recent frags in this line left me cold–Rose Prick, Lost Cherry, F$%king Fabulous. I liked Lavender Extreme, and for an eighth of the price I might have bought it–but for the New York minute it lasted on my skin, the perfume’s cost was obscene. If I could find it heavily discounted, I’d be in like Flynn. And I will definitely be on the lookout for giving Bitter Peach a sniff!
Sounds interesting. But thus far, Keiko Mecheri’s Peau de Peche is the only peach fragrance that actually smells like peach to me.
And that one is so interesting.
I own it and love it!
There’s always Rush by Gucci, if a dominant peach note is what u desire.
Sitting here wearing Bitter Peach, I kept thinking there are other fragrances I have that smell just like this…less expensive department store fragrances. I’m out of it so I can’t compare, but I think that’s it…Gucci Rush!
I’ll probably just need this…
FWIW, my impression on smelling Bitter Peach was Mugler Angel with peach nectar top notes. I can’t comment on wear, because I didn’t dare put it on my skin. Those who wear TF easily should probably sample, but for peaches, I’ll stick with MDCI Pêche Cardinale.
