Penhaligon’s has launched Halfeti Cedar, a new flanker to 2015's Halfeti, in the Trade Routes collection.
The next instalment to the sweet-smelling selection at Penhaligon's, the Halfeti Cedar eau de parfum is inspired by the fabled black rose. Yep, and taking a step into the mythical forests of Halfeti, the fragrance is surrounded by woody accords (we're talking cedarwood and patchouli) and notes of dried fruits, spice and a river of rum. The result? A woody-oriental fragrance finished with the opulence of velvet and mystery of musk.
Additional notes include peach, cardamom, saffron, mineral accord, immortelle, cinnamon, vanilla, labdanum and tonka bean.
Penhaligon's Halfeti Cedar is available now at Selfridges in the UK, £178 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Yo ho ho and a river of rum?
Yep!
I guess if you have a hit you’ve got to run with it, I’m sure there’ll be even more flankers on the way ?
Looks like that is the plan.
It looks like a bottle of booze ?
At the risk of repeating myself (& I know I am) their prices just get more & more outrageous with each new launch!
Agreed that it needs to be restated, that’s pricey as heck!!
They’ve also hiked up the prices of their ‘traditional’ range – my much loved, worn for years Bluebell is now GBP 110.00 for 100mls of EdT (not even EdP!), although I’m aware that their faux British heritage range, aimed at a different market, has been ridiculously priced from the outset. I will continue to pop into their shops whenever I’m near one, but I fear they have lost yet another loyal customer of many years’ standing.
