Gucci has launched Hortus Sanitatis, a new fragrance in the The Alchemist's Garden collection.
A new eau de parfum in Gucci's Haute Perfumery line The Alchemist’s Garden, Hortus Sanitatis (Latin for "The Garden of Health") blends notes of Papyrus and Cedarwood, and is named after one of the first natural history encyclopedias.
Hortus Sanitatis was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas. Additional notes include ginger and vetiver.
Gucci Hortus Sanitatis is available now at the brand website, $370 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

All that money and you get a pedestrian bottle! They must be making a $360 profit on this one.
I like the notes and the perfumer. Blue is my color. Would have like something more like an apothecary type bottle. But than I get to the price! And size. I don’t need 100 mls of anything anymore.
I assume they are making a good profit on the whole collection, assuming anybody is buying it…which really, who knows.
But for the price, I’d surely be interested in a sniff.
I guess? I have not heard that any of the collection are must sniffs.
Blue is my favorite color but not at that price! 😯
Cedar oil is not in short supply – maybe the papyrus CO2 fraction is very rare? LOL.
