Alas, it's another Monday. (And a quick PSA: the freebiemeet is coming up on Saturday!) What fragrance are you wearing?
I am commando except for some Weleda Sea Buckthorn body lotion.
Reminder: on 1/17, wear a fragrance with immortelle, if you have one. Suggested by Hamamelis.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2020, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

The cold is back. Few sprays of Hermes Ambre Narguile and on my 3rd cup of coffee to wake me up. Feeling tired and under the weather today. Hope the day improves!
One day it’s spring, the next day it’s winter here. So confusing for the body… I was reading in the WSJ this morning that some of the cherry blossoms started to come out in Central Park because of the warm temperatures. So even the foliage is confused…
Some crocuses in my area have started blooming already. Too soon for thatl! Kind of confusing and depressing!
I hear you. I remember living in NY and experiencing such joy at the first crocuses poking thru the snow. It seems very early for that!
There is nothing more beautiful than crocuses and snowdropspoking thru the snow, usually late in February. That is a sign of hope for me that spring is around the corner after a harsh cold season. We have not really started “winter” here yet. Sigh!
My daffodils have started putting up foliage. I really hate to see Mother Nature playing tricks on her own offspring!
Daffodils, Crocus and pansies are such cheerful little flowers. đ
Its so odd!
But this when I feel most under the weather during the temperature fluctuations
And the sad bit is getting a post-warm spell freeze and losing all the blossoms. đ
The last couple of years tulips and magnolias have succumbed or barely survived the cold temps and snow here. So sad!
We are twins in everything today! I’m scentless at the moment, but will copy you. Maybe it will turn out to be a good day ??
Hi twin! Let’s hope our days gets better! Why not, right? ??
Did your day get better?
I plan to wear three scents with immortelle this week, and I am saving them for later.
Today I am wearing Dana Tabu. Animalic amber. A bit too animalic for my taste, so while I will finish my sample, I won’t buy more.
Wow, 3 might win you the prize! I am still out of town but I will be lucky if I can come up with one.
I am sipping Chai tea this morning. Not as much ginger as my FIL usually makes it, but I will never complain..never đ
I am in Bijou Romantique this morning, and I think after wearing Shalimar for over a week straight the initial opening of BR was so sweet I nearly almost got an immediate headache. It has calmed down a bit.
I listening to the announcements of the Oscars this morning and was not impressed. Usually I go running to the movie theater when they make their announcement but I am underwhelmed. I saw a few on the list, but none moved me…
*Insert was..I was listening..
The list seemed quite prosaic to me…highly predictable. As usual. I couldnât believe no nominations for A Hidden Life.
Itâs amusing…my husband disliked 1917 quite intensely.
Same here. I checked the nominations to see what I wanted to see, but nothing excited me. I started watching The Irishman (3 hours!) at home a couple of weeks ago, and while it’s good, well acted, etc, I haven’t gone back to finish it. I think I might be over mafia movies.
I generally think Scorsese has just about covered that genre as much as he needs to….
Agreed. He’s kind of one-trick pony.
Iâm also not interested in The Irishman, but I think this criticism is unfair. Think of the many other interesting things heâs done, such as Hugo, The Silence, The Age of Innocence, Last Temptation of Christ, Alice Doesnât Live Here Anymore, plus his work in conservation and commentary on classics of cinema. For instance, his comments on âThe Red Shoesâ were just mind-blowing to me. Heâs become too curmudgeonly, but his contributions are manifold.
In addition to Calypso’s list, he has also directed a documentary about SCTV, with the cast of that television show. Not sure when it’s being released – says it is in post-production on IMDB. I can’t wait! ?
HA!
Oh I agree heâs done a ton of other things…Hugo was great, I thought. Underrated. I just think he can leave mob stuff behind. Maybe thatâs just my taste…I donât find it as interesting.
FYI, my husband highly recommends a Hard Days Journey Into Night. Out of China. Last hour is a single shot in 3D. Sounds interestingly strange….right up his alley…
We started to watch the Irishman but it was odd to see someone computer-generated to look younger but they still moved like a 70-year old. After 45 minutes of that I called it a wash. And I love Scorsese, but I agree, he has covered that genre.
Although (very) disturbing, I hope Joaquin Phoenix wins the Oscar for Actor In a Leading Role for Joker. His transformation in the character was nothing short of amazing.
I’ve spent a really nice weekend in London with my sister. I only did a little sniffing in Liberty’s and fell hard for L’Ame Perdue by Le Galion. Not wearing immortelle (yet) as I wasn’t aware it was this week’s theme. Instead I’m wearing the lovely and understated L’Eau d’Hiver.
Lâeau dâHiver is lovely. You smell nice!
Thanks!
London with your sister…that sounds very nice! And Liberty’s has a pretty fun perfume department.
They offer so many brands, i remember they had lots of Frederic Malle (a full counter and also a whole cabinet in another room) âșïž
I really enjoyed Liberty’s. I didn’t spend an awful lot of time at the perfume department as my sister does not enjoy perfume very much and fails to see the joy in sniffing 10 different scents.
I did manage a visit to their well staffed Frédéric Malle counter and had a nice discussion about Rose et Cuir!
I havent tried Rose et Cuir yet, I was in Paris last weekend and somehow managed to NOT bump into a Frederic Malle counter or store. ?
Hahaha.
Where did you go?
We visited the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition in the Louvre. It was lovely, I prefer his sketchbooks and drawings though, his painting style is not to my taste.
We stayed in a hotel near place VendĂŽme and despite the highest amount of perfume stores per m2 (rue Saint-HonorĂ©) we ‘only’ visited Jovoy, My husband likes trying new stuff as well.
But i ended up buying an already familiar perfume, Le cri.
It was a very relaxed stay…because of the metro strike we did not make lots of big plans. So we spent most of our stay there strolling through the neighbourhood, window shopping, drinking coffee, eating lunch, drinking tea on the balcony near the rooftop of Printemps, drinks again, eating cake…etc etc Hahah. ?
That sounds wonderful. I enjoyed London, but I like Paris a whole lot more. There was no strike in London, some tubes were still not running though.
Le Cri is gorgeous, it has been on my wish list for a while and fortunately I’ve still got a large sample. It’s very delicate for a Corticchiato.
If you ever visit Antwerp, I strongly recommend a visit to Necessities where they have the new Olivier Cresp line. It’s called Akro and it has some wonderful and distinctive scents.
I prefer Paris to London as well.
And thank you for the Antwerpen tip! Ive read about that line, but I dont think I know a Dutch shop that has it.
Yes Le Cri is delicate.
Another Pd’Empire I like/love is Tabac Tabou, but delicate is surely NOT the word to describe it ?
I just realise TT fits the cp this week, it has immortelle, I hope my sample still contains enough for one or two sprays
Are you still in London? Or was it a quick weekend trip?
No, it was a 3-day trip. I left Sunday evening.
On a whim I bought the Angel Voluptuous Philter on my last day of vacation after having been so virtuous (all over Germany and MontrĂ©al and I didnât buy a single scent): itâs mostly sandalwood, vanilla, and patchouli, or in other words a base, meant to be stacked with any of the Angel scents. This morning I put some on top of the Liqueur de Parfum 2013 and I have to say itâs nice, making the original scent (which is a little sharp and boozy) warmer and less angular without sweetening it any. Worth the money? Juryâs out, but the bottle is nifty and I donât regret it.
I’ve been searching for something to help me wear my Angel Liqueur. I think there is too much honey for me. If I see this Philter I will pick it up. Otherwise I might have to swap it.
Oh! Semi Scent-twins! You smell lovely!
Vintage Jolie Madame and a cup of fancy tieguanyin to celebrate my sniffer finally being completely back to normal. I had a restful weekend watching lots of TV, including the deliciously ridiculous Witcher.
I love fancy Tie Guan Yin and it needs a functioning nose to appreciate it.
You smell fabulous! Vintage JM is so lovely!
Yes delicously ridiculous are the right words to describe Witcher. ?
I enjoyed it a lot because its a bit campy.
I’m hearing a lot of good things about The Witcher.
I’m loving The Witcher too!
I’m going to be trying out the fragrances in my Rogue discovery set. Today is 40 Rogue.
Exciting, let us know what you think of it! I think the one that kept catching my nose from him was Mousse Illuminee, but Iâm sure heâs come out with a few more since I sampled.
I haven’t tried this one yet but I loved several of his others. I should catch up on what’s new from him. Let us know what you think!
Coffee and Replica Coffee Break as I once again, head into the commute.
How is that one? I keep checking my Sephora for that one to arrive.
I love it mtg!
Better than lush
Different from JM vetyver and black cafe.
I got the travel size with a Sephora Gift card so I didnât break my no buy rule.
This week has started for me with Aedes Oeillet Bengale.
You smell great!
I might wear that tomorrow…
ELdO Like This for a dreary, wet day, perfect for a nice cup of oolong. đ
House twins, but on opposite end on the tea front..
A good masala chai sounds fantastic, but Iâm def an oolong devotee.
Funny, for the longest time I passed on white teas because theyâve not been favorites, but I tried some again as cold brews and holy cow are they caffeinated! Also delicious. So more tea adventures are on the horizon!
I also like oolong, but when my FIL is here visiting I will never pass up on his homemade chai.
Homemade! That must be so delicious!
Twins! Although by now it’s pretty much faded…
Not terribly long lasting on me either, definitely gone by lunch time.
Thunked the last bit of Tesori d’Oriente Papavero del Tibet. Thunking samples and decants does seem to help a bit with spatial and mental clutter. A help of which I am in desperate need…
What a great name! Glad the thunk helped clear the deck a bit.
I did last yearâs spring cleaning with my nephew this past weekend and thereâs a lot more to do! Youâre not alone, if that helps ??ââïž
Iâm in Vanille Insensee for a back to work Monday. I woke to the sound of my neighborâs snowblower, never a good way to start the day.? Iâm on day 2 of a whole 30 challenge. After a fall of grief eating and the holidays and my birthday, it is time for a reset. I figure if I canât eat a cookie, at least I can smell like one.?
Everything in moderation..even perfume đ (said no one ever)
Lol?
Madtowngirl- I wore the Tam Dao yesterday and really enjoyed it! My weather is officially in Stinks mode too. Happy belated Birthday!and good luck with your challenge!
Thanks lillyjo! Iâm glad you liked the Tam Dao! Itâs one of my favorites.?
I am going to have to curb the eating VERY soon too.
I’m also doing a food reset right now. I’m trying to get more fresh fruits and veg into my diet.
SotD is Le Cri
I been having a nagging sense in a set of teeth and it started to become more frequent last week.
So I decided a visit to the dentist would be a sensible idea (yeah also horrifying, but mostly sensible).
And horrifying it is.
I need a root canal treatment and I hate it ? (i never had one…still not looking forward to it)
Good luck Jiji! Honestly, as long as they numb you, it’s not so bad. The bill is the most horrifying part for me. You will do just fine?
Yeah they already sent me indication of the costs.
Its a bummer, but I consider myself lucky so far when it comes to dental costs.
Usually I spent 150 – 250 euros per year on dental. For yearly check up, cleaning and the occasional cavity, oh and my insurance covers most of it…but i have a yearly limit of 250 euro…that amount will not do for the root canal. ?
…and I had a long period when i only needed cleaning and check up…that is not even 100 euros a year.
I guess after 43 years a bigger bill is nothing to complain about. âșïž
Not bad! I can’t even drive past the dentist office without spending a hundred dollars ?
You made me LOL, lillyjo!
I’m right there with ya lillyjo – my dentist loves working on me, I think he bought a new Jag from the last set of crowns he replaced.
If the dentist is worth the money you pay them, they will numb you up really good and you won’t feel any pain. The bill is the scariest part though.
Yeah local anaesthesia is standard procedure was my impression (unless the root is dead and numb already), the bill hurts the most ?
My dentist did a root canal on one of my teeth that developed an abscess. He said the root was either dead or just about but numbed me up.
Just demand all the drugs, and be sure to take the day after off, so you can drink gallons of water and fully flush the anesthesia from your system. Plan on eating cottage cheese with applesauce, and mac and cheese, with tapioca pudding for dessert, for a few days, whatever they tell you about eating solid food. đ It isn’t so bad, so long as you don’t do anything to disturb the temp crown…
Agreeing with the taking the day off.
Oops I had a work meeting planned a few hours after the procedure.
Oh well, we shall see how it goes, i hear so many different experiences. Some folks are in pain for days after, other people say they just felt some discomfort…..
Iâve only had one root canal and it was a breeze! No pain at all, during or after. I hope yours goes well!
Ugh, good luck. I’ve somehow managed to avoid root canals to date, but I’m sure there’s one in my future!
And of course you smell great!
Good luck with your teeth! I’ve never had a root canal yet, so I can’t comment as to the procedure. I hope it all goes smoothly.
Hope it is easier than you’re thinking, Jiji!
Good luck with your root canal, Jiji! I had one, and it went rather smoothly. The worst part for me was getting all the shots to get numb. Oh, and the bill.
Hi all, SOTD is Angel Liqueur de Parfum. One spritz is all I need, this is great (in very small doses)…
Both the hubby and I have colds, but we had a grand weekend socializing with friends and went to a hockey game over the weekend. Now time to get down to business….
Enjoy getting down to business!
You smell great SmokeyToes, and glad it was a fun weekend! My husband is recovering from a cold too.
This cold is making the rounds for sure! My uncle started with a cold and it turned into pneumonia – it’s quite scary.
I should clarify, I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.
The players were duking it out in the first five minutes of the game. Never seen things go downhill so fast!
The colds that are turning into serious illnesses are really dreadful! I hope all of our folks recover quickly.
The hockey fight made me laugh, though.
FearsMice: We were rink side – one particularly (very) cute hockey player from Canada smiled at a cute girl in the crowd and he had no. front. teeth.
I’m sure his dentist loves him!
đŻ
Hope that you and your hubby get over your cold quickly SmokeyToes!
Woke up in no 5 eau Premiere this morning. I now remember why I have a hard time wearing it. I find it kind of annoying for some reason. I have the teeniest little bit of Chanel no 22 extrait on.
I have yet to find the 5 I can wear…
No 5 can be difficult. Have you tried the soap or body lotion?
I tried one of the lotions years ago. It is just not my thing — always feels like it is wearing me.
I’m just getting ready to go out and meet up with nancyleandros for early lunch (Italian) and some sniffing! Woot woot! I’m sure we’ll report in later on what we’ve discovered. We’re going to the store here, Kuhl-Linscomb, that carries a lot of lesser known indie or niche brands, in addition to some of the usual suspects like Diptyque, SL, Creed, CDG, Eight & Bob, etc. This is the shop where I discovered Grandiflora Queen of the Night, for example, a couple of years ago. Too bad it’s kind of rainy and yucky, but we’ll mostly be indoors.
Oh, have fun! Do report back.
Have a fun fun time!!!
Sounds great, have fun!
Yay!
That sounds like an awesome time! Please do post an update!
Grandiflora Madigascan Jasmine because I wore it yesterday and wanted a replay. I think this is currently my favorite jasmine, and probably most worn one.
Saw a wonderful performance last night called Wild Dogs Under my Skirt, based on a collection of poetry by the same name. It’s about the intersection of Samoan and New Zealand life (from the perspective of a woman). The performers were all of Samoan heritage.
I love the Grandiflora Jasmine as well, so I think you smell wonderful!
Thank you!
Oooh you smell amazing! Madagascan Jasmine was the first Grandiflora I tried and still my favourite.
I’ve only tried this and the 2 magnolias, thanks to therabbitsflower in a swap. I liked the Magnolia Michel, but not as much as I like this one.
I also tried the magnolias and I have a small decant of Queen of the night.
Now I already have lots of jasmine scents… but I still crave a decant or bottle of this jasmine…. ?
Say… the madagascan variety really is different flower right? Right?…so I guess it does not count as the jasmines I already have, like Sarrasins or A la Nuit ??
Haha! Of course ? I have decants of both Sarrasins and A la Nuit and think this one is different enough, especially from Sarrasins which is in a different class altogether. I got a 10ml decant of the Grandiflora (and it’s nearly done!) in a swap and bought another 10ml on Ebay.
And I did get to smell different varieties of jasmine EOs when I visited Enfleurage here in NYC. Indian vs Wgyptian, with preference for the Indian ?
Uh oh, that Madigascan Jasmine sounds like I should probably sniff it. ?
Sampling DSH MaccaBees which is project compliant
Ah, good call! Do you like it?
Not enough that I need more than my sample
Thanks!
I’ve got a sample of that on its way to me. I scraped in an order during the second to last day of her sale.
Yawn… this past weekend was so hectic, it is nice to just have to go to work… ha. In addition to the usual weekend chores (laundry, dishes, picking up, bills) I took down the Christmas tree and put away the Christmas decorations; did storm prep (possibility of a proper storm later this week — fetched firewood, cleaned out the drain boxes in the driveway, swept up leaves, tied down furniture); AND had friends over for dinner last night. My feet even hurt from being on them so much! SOTD is Chanel Sycomore. It is 9:30am and I need a nap, lol.
9:30 and needing a nap….oh sounds like one of my monday mornings ?..but you smell great! Sycomore always lifts my spirits.
Ha, yes, work sounds preferable!
Iâm sure it was very relaxing just to sit at your desk. đ
VC&A Bois d’Iris, one of my favorites, and I guess sadly discontinued? I had stopped sampling Iris perfumes, guess I better start up again. Project issue – I am sure that some decant I have is supposed to have immortelle in it, but I can’t find out which one…may be Wit? No that is Davana, I think. Hmmm….
I don’t think Wit, but if I am wrong I hope someone will correct me.
I actively avoid immortelle, it’s one of my least favorite notes, so I won’t be putting any on this week. SOTD is Angel Muse for a cold and rainy forecast.
And under the heading of “Portland Oddities,” I was invited to join “Singalong Acupuncture.” They are doing “Hamilton” among other selections. One of the things I love about acupuncture is the quiet and deep relaxation that accompanies it. I don’t think singing Hamilton is really conducive to that. Maybe Gregorian chant, but that wasn’t offered.
Singalong acupuncture seems like a truly odd idea, even odder than the goat yoga one of my clients told me about
That is odd but I like the idea.
Ditto for me on immortelle đ
Joining the anti-immortelle. L’Occitane has all sorts of immortelle sking stuff (to make you immortal?) and my reaction is a big “nope”. Wearing Encens Mythique.
I’m with you and the others in avoiding perfumes with prominent immortelle. But it does show up as a supporting note in many perfumes I enjoy. So as long as a perfume isn’t giving it top billing or telling me it’s immortelle-centric, I may still enjoy it. I saw DSH Macabees has immortelle in it, but I still ordered a sample hoping for the best. We’ll see!
Immortelle is a difficult note for me to wear. So I will decide on Friday if I feel like taking a chance or not.
SOTD = Prada Infusion dâIris Absolue
I really should wear this more often… so good!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question on how to rehab orchid plants. I had to work for a few hours unexpectedly and did not get a chance to reply individually. The two Iâm saving have sturdy leaves and I watered the soil lightly (still need to figure how best to do the dunk method without leaving a mess) and sprayed with Miracle Gro for Orchids on the leaves and directed to the soil. It is getting artificial light for at least 2 hours a day and when I am on vacation, I will position a smart bulb to continue to give it light for part of the day. I will check out the trimming videos although methinks Iâll end up accidentally cutting myself. I will give them until October to flower and if not, poof. I will buy new ones.
I’ve heard that one was the best of the Prada irises.
And I want to introduce my kitteh – Billy Bob!
https://www.instagram.com/p/B7NaHChBuZj/?igshid=77t73vinwyry
Oh, how fun!
Well, he’ll be very inexpensive to feed. Very cute!
And no cattitude, ever!
He is and he will be posing with some bottles although he is quite big as youâll see when I start posting pics (I havenât taken any cat / bottle pictures as yet).
ha! Cute!
Thanks! He is a cutie!
Lovely!
Thank you. He was exactly what I wanted!
Super cute!
Thank you, lillyjo!
Oh, my heart skipped a beat when I read “kitteh”… I thought you had succumbed to the charms of a furbie.
But your knitted guy is awfully cute! (And won’t shed…)
?!
Very cute! Looking forward to bottle pics with him (sort of like what Undina does with Bob). đ
So cute and great colors going on there!
In Osmanthe Yunnan for my first day physically back at work in 2020 (I was sick all last week so I worked from home). Iâm still a bit sick and trying to remember that the kind of mucus-y hacking i engage in at home is hardly acceptable in the workplace.
A request: do you get the Whole Foods mailer? Do you still have the one from Nov/Dec? Can I have it? Will pay for shipping/packaging (I canât imagine that would be more than a couple dollars, buy just in case).
Sorry you are still a bit sick Koyel, and also sorry I do not have the mailer!
Thanks, Robin <3 I'm not that hopeful that anyone still has a two-month-old mailer, but I am still going to keep trying for a bit!
I haven’t seen a Whole Foods mailer in years now.
Dang, Jalapeno, you’re making me lose hope đ
I should also mention that I see a lot fewer mailers in general in my snail mail. YMMV.
Koyel, I’m so curious as to what is in the mailer? I’ve never seen one, since there isn’t one around here.
It’s just a pretty catalogue with pictures of food and such. There are specifically some pictures I really really wanted to keep, but my fiancĂ© threw it out before I got a chance to use them đ
I’m in the tiniest spray of JM Orris and Sandalwood to get through my third day in a row at work and the 6th day of having two at home with the flu. Guess this year’s flu shot didn’t cover this bug?.
Ugh. Wishing you strength and health!
Good luck in not catching that bug. ?
I am wearing Chanel Coco EDP and drinking a cup of green tea.
I am drinking green with mint and lemongrass đ
sounds like a lovely combination !
I went with Maison Anonyme L’Immortel, which does have an immortelle note listed but smells mostly of elemi and sandalwood to me. It’s just as well because I like immortelle as a supporting player rather than star of a perfume. I made a list from Fragrantica, and I have many perfumes with an immortelle note. I should have fun with this week’s CP.
There’s snow today and the rest of the week in Seattle. I’m one of not many people in the office since most are working from home. I’d rather work from the office (maybe I’m the only one), so I’ll come in every day in able to.
That is funny, I never in my life preferred the office! Is it just because you get more done?
So many reasons! As a preface, I worked from home exclusively for about 9-12 months back when I lived in Ohio, and while it had lots of perks, I really got my fill. As long as I have coworkers I enjoy, I like the social aspect of work. I have a very small circle of friends and my boyfriend and I are pretty big homebodies. Work is an opportunity to go be part of the world everyday.
At work I have:
A sit-stand desk
Two monitors, which is super helpful for the work I do
A microwave (don’t have one at home and rarely miss it)
At home:
Quite small, cluttered 1 bedroom apartment
Uncomfortable chair
Use an antique secretary as a desk
An upstairs dog that howls and barks from loneliness for 30-60 min at a time
Distractions of being at home and not wanting to work
All of those sound like excellent reasons to go to the office đ
Elemi and sandalwood sound great!
I have really enjoyed the perfume today and found it to wear pretty close to the skin, which makes it office appropriate.
Snowy morning commute! So I put on the warmest ice queen frag I know…. Chanel Beige. Love it.
You smell purdy!
Felanilla!
Lovely!
Awesome?
Time to pull out my sample of that!
ELDO Attaquer Le soleil, Marquis de Sade,a cistus soliflore. Its really nice and cosy after the first hour.
Iâve opted for Oriza Legrand Vetiver Royal Bourbon today, which is by far the most office-appropriate of the immortelle scents I pulled out for this week.
It’s a grey and gloomy Monday here. It’s still about 10 degrees F warmer than average here. Seriously weird weather for January, but no longer T-shirt weather.
SOTD = back in FM Carnal Flower again today. I needed a scented pick me up this morning for sure!
PS. Robin, I’m really stoked that you liked that BBC article! ?
You smell stunning and majestic! CF is a wonderful pick me up in winter.
Thank you austenfan!
Next week I think most of us should start having below average temps.
The weekend is supposed to get down to “normal” temps for us, but there might be the dreaded wintry mix to deal with. Yuck.
Oh darn, I meant to reply here but it ended up in a separate comment ?
?
Twins with PL67 in Ambre Narguile. It’s one of those “at least I smell good ” kind of days.
Hi twin! Smelling great!
Sometimes Mondays are obnoxious enough that smelling good is all you can do.
Hey Jalapeño! To answer your question re: special bottle of Carnal Flower, I got the remaining synesthesia bottle of Carnal Flower from the FM boutique on Madison.
https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/frederic-malle-limited-edition-carnal-flower-perfume/product/0400010210670
Have you ever thought of doing a YouTube video of your collection or at least your special bottles? If not, I’ve thought of it for you! Lol, I would love to see them all together ?
Thanks! I remember those bottles now that you’ve posted the picture.
I’ve been meaning to share (if it hasn’t already) that I popped into Barney’s in San Francisco this past weekend and in addition to fragrance being off 40%, they are also selling the tester bottles of the frags they are out of. As of Friday afternoon, quite a few Frederick Malle bottles ranging from $150 – 200 I believe (for testers). They are getting pretty picked over, though…
I was working on a mental list for the swap meet, but now I realize it’s a freebie meet – I had it all mixed up!
Happy Monday. In Like this.
You smell so good today!
SotD = Hiris
I’ve been Hiris-ing pretty regularly lately. It’s nice to add Hiris in the evening when my morning scent has worn off. đ
Hope everyone had a marvelous Monday!
I think that is a great use for Hiris- to spray when other things have worn off. Itâs quite lovely. You smell great.
Wearing a couple sprays of Chanel Paris-Venise tonight. I don’t think I have any Immortelle scents in my stash so I might play bottle roulette this week instead.
Hope everyone his staying safe and warm! It’s really cold here.
I love Paris-Venise. You smell perfect.
Stay safe and warm too! This week is warm enough that I’m getting wintery mix, but next week it will be in the teens and low twentys.
Busy day again today, I wore And the World is Yours, but switching to Dans Tes Bras for bed.
I love And the world is yours!
Finally better! Whew that was a ROUGH 10 days. You know itâs bad when youâre excited about going to work haha! On that note, I feel like Iâm seriously rocking my new job. Also, I wore Noir de Noir today which is always a win!
Yay for feeling better! This winter’s flu & cold season is shaping up to be a nasty one.
So glad you are feeling better, you smelled great today!
Glad you feel better! 10 days can feel like forever.
