Indie brand Imaginary Authors will launch Telegrama, a new fragrance. Like the other fragrances in the line, it was inspired by an imaginary book by an imaginary author.
Separated when they were nineteen but forever tethered to hope, two Argentinian lovers, manage to stay in touch even as the world pulls them farther and farther apart. Persuasive messages, some of which take months to reach their recipient, dramatically alter the course of each of their lives but the time that passes between communications has a way of unraveling even the best-laid plans. Aboard a transatlantic flight many years later, the two are serendipitously united but the repercussions of this much-anticipated convergence could have global consequences.
When to Wear: Inspired by a vintage first-class experience, this plush scent has the ability to turn even the most ordinary day into something dignified and memorable. Indulge often.
The notes include talc, lavender, black pepper, teak, amyris, vanilla powder and fresh linens.
Imaginary Authors Telegrama will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum (and probably in a 14 ml travel spray as well).

I want to read that imaginary book! I’m puzzled by the “talc” note though. Hmmmm? (Especially given our current knowledge of how dangerous talc is.)
I think I read somewhere that this was meant to mimic an old school men’s fragrance, I assume a fougere? and many of them did smell like talc.
But that doesn’t mean they have real talc in them, just that it will smell powdery.
Oh, this sounds nice. Great back story.
Yeah, I would read that one too! And try the fragrance 🙂
Interesting, I’m reading a book about Argentina in the 70’s. Very scary and paranoid though, because of the political climate (of which I know very little.) Probably not a great fragrance inspiration.
I want to like this brand but the few I’ve tried didn’t really work for me.
