    Ooh, I really want this!
It reminds me a lot of some beautiful Finnish dinnerware that I love, and have just a few pieces of. Here’s an example:

Yes, love those plates and that whole series!

And have always wanted the Rorstand Swedish Grace Winter, which are less whimsical but would make such a nice Christmas table.

          That is seriously charming.

          I love Rorstrand in general.

I love me some Ittalla. I want the cup and saucer from that series as it has a little hedgehog.

Yes it’s so sweet! I am partial to their big mugs too. I have a few things in the dark blue, but this new design is really tempting me. I was on a committee that met annually in Helsinki for five years and just loved visiting and shopping at Stockmann’s there—even in January! I hope to be able to go back next spring—something is in the works. My big investment though was to buy an Oiva Toikka glass bird on each trip. I’ve wound up with a nice collection! https://www.finnstyle.com/iittala-toikka.html
        They’re more expensive now, alas,

We share a taste in Finnish design then ?. I’ve got all of the Taika mugs except for the black and white ones. And I got some Arabia Arctica stuff years ago. Taika seems to use the Teema shapes with different designs.
Are you familiar with Iittala Origo?
We used to spend our family holidays in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, but I’ve never visited Finland. I would really like to. I hope you get another chance in spring!

China is the worst for time wastage! That and paint colors, I have to drag myself away from the computer.

Ah, paint colors sent me spiraling when we were looking for wall colors for our bedrooms a few months ago. I am very happy with our choices, but I spent weeks with serious FOMO: maybe I should’ve picked this other color? No wait, that one!
