Bvlgari has launched Coralia, a new fragrance in the luxury Le Gemme collection.
Bulgari’s La Gemme Coralia is an ode to the red Mediterranean coral found in the caves around Sardinia, known for making its way east to China. As finely sculpted as the reef itself, this unique eau de parfum is infused with beautiful notes of nature, from delicate osmanthus and orris to rich leather and musk.

“It was the mellow and fruity character of osmanthus that most challenged me, an olfactory sensation that reminds me of the tender flesh of dry apricot, with lactone and creamy nuances. But also, its famous duality - nuances of smoked tea and leather under the sweet notes of a seemingly innocent flower. This duality between innocence and a wilder character evokes the color of coral.” -Sophie Labbe, Master Perfumer
Additional notes include pink pepper and amber.
Bvlgari Le Gemme Coralia can be found now at Harrods in the UK, £239 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Oh, come on, £239? Is this the price range of Le Gemme line?
Some of them are a bit more than others, but they’re all expensive.
Sounds lovely but my wallet just laughed out loud.
As well it might.
The bottle makes me nervous.
Yeah?
Well, it’s quite top-heavy and looks easy to tip over. That was my immediate concern, so maybe that’s what lillyjo meant too. But it really is a very beautiful bottle of a perfume I will never buy.
Oh, dear, I think the bottle is kinda cute in a 50’s science fiction move set sort of way, and the price is definitely off-putting.
Same!
It looks like a very ornate Lampe Berger with that pierced lid… or maybe a mini peach pie with a lattice-like crust! In any case it is interesting!
I love the bottle but wish it weren’t just available in 100ml.
