Victoria’s Secret Tease Heartbreaker ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 23 July 2019 5 Comments

Victoria's Secret has introduced Tease Heartbreaker, a new floriental fragrance. Tease Heartbreaker is a sort of flanker to 2007's Sexy Little Things, via 2010's Sexy Little Things Noir Tease (which became Noir Tease for short), and which was a flanker to 2008's Sexy Little Things Noir.

Express yourself. Live out loud. Tease Heartbreaker. Inspired by the print mixing seen on the Fall 2019 runways, our perfumers created Tease Heartbreaker, a bold clash of fruity brightness and delicious warmth. Electric Starfruit layers with Purple Lotus for a shock of fruity floralcy. Next, an airy surprise of sweet warmth: Tonka Bean and whipped Vanilla Cream. It’s a fragrance that’s as eclectic and spirited as you.

Victoria's Secret Tease Heartbreaker is available in 7, 50 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I’d love to see a family tree of all the VS flankers!

Victoria’s Secret seem to be caught in a time-warp where #metoo hasn’t happened yet, which I guess accounts for their rapidly falling relevance in their main (lingerie) market with their tacky catwalk shows.

The fragrances seem to follow the same route. Are these really marketed at grown women(?) – the sugar sweet packaging look like it’s aimed at teens which makes their sleazy names a bit queasy – “sexy little things” , “tease” , “heartbreaker”. Bleurgh !??

Was walking by one of their stores yesterday where the melange of their scents must have a radius requiring its own zip/postal code. I imagined the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man strolling out into the mall in a push-up bra and a thong spraying samples of their newest pink dreck!

The few times I have gone into the beauty section at their store in my local mall, it always appears to be completely empty. So no idea who their target market is.
