L’Artisan Parfumeur Le Chant de Camargue ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 1 June 2019 8 Comments

L’Artisan Parfumeur has launched Le Chant de Camargue, a new addition to the Les Paysages series, paying tribute to French landscapes.

L'Artisan Parfumeur journeys across France in search of ingredients that conjure up images of distant horizons, lands and landscapes. Through his olfactory itinerary, perfumer Alberto Morillas embarks on a journey of discovery, revealing the Camargue in all its glory – Aigues Mortes, Arles and Saintes Maries de la Mer.

***

The delicacy of a "milk of rice" flowery and powdered with a fresh hint of bergamot.

The notes include bergamot, camargue rice, ambrox and sandalwood milk.

L’Artisan Parfumeur Le Chant de Camargue is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The other landscape ones are very good, so I’m really looking forward to trying this one.

Wish there was still a l’Artisan shop in London! Currently sitting with a large glass of Texas red in Oak Ridge North, Tx – thoroughly enjoying our holiday with friends – have eaten out practically every day since arriving a week & a half ago. Popped into Sephora in The Woodlands Mall the other day & my husband, for reasons unknown, picked up Nest’s Wild Poppy & declared he really liked it so I put some on my wrist, fruity florals are really not my taste at all, but thought I’d give it a go as he liked it so much. We both decided it smelled better in the bottle than it did on me, & it really wasn’t very long lasting at all. With hindsight, I should have ordered Privet Bloom to be sent from NYC to our friends here, as I did a few years ago when we visited friends in Seattle. Took MM’s Promenade in the Gardens with me this visit, & as I have mentioned here before (much to a few regular readers’ amusement), the male half of our friends/host couple has commented on my wearing AG’s Eau de Camille, Penhaligon’s Bluebell, Privet Bloom, & the MM in the past & has been known to sniff my neck, which he & I both find highly amusing but has been known to cause a touch of consternation to family & friends present at the time who either don’t know or have forgotten that we have known each other for more than 25 years, despite living on opposite sides of ‘the pond’!

Sounds good, smaller bottle than 100ml would sound even better!!

I would love a travel set with the landscape ones. Or just 3 of your choice. I’ve already got a bottle of Bucoliques.

I wanna sniff anything by Alberto..though wondering how much a hint of bergamot is…hopefully not more than just a hint.
