UK-based niche line Floral Street has launched Electric Rhubarb, a new fragrance.
For the sparkling, luminous, charming and fun-loving.
An unexpected and bubbly white floral.
If you could bottle that feeling of laughing and sipping perfectly chilled Prosecco on a balmy summer’s afternoon - this would be it.
Created in collaboration with the Royal Horticultural Society, beautiful white florals and soft powdery sandalwood are combined with the scent of English rhubarb and an unexpected blast of salty sea air to make this an instant mood lifter.
Bubbly, effervescent and a little bit unexpected, it’s the perfect party guest of the fragrance world.
Electric Rhubarb was developed by perfumer Jérôme Epinette. Additional notes include gardenia, frangipani and jasmine.
Floral Street Electric Rhubarb is available now at John Lewis in the UK, in 10 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Love rhubarb fragrances & enjoyed Hermes Rhubarb Ecarlate, but I can’t get my head around Epinette – I find all of his Byredo work and a lot of his Atelier work rather meh, but he does some very nice work with Vilhelm so I guess it’s not him but the direction he’s being given.
I have a soft spot for Flowerhead and Pulp, but can live without all the rest of Byredo and all of Atelier Cologne. Agree about Vilhelm they are getting better work from Epinette.
P.S. as well as a John Lewis they also have their own quite cute store in Covent Garden, London – sadly it’s on King Street, not Floral Street which is one street away !
I concur with Nathan – based on what I said here after visiting the Covent Garden shop in November, it is indeed a lovely spot & well worth a visit if you can. I was interested in this rhubarb one till I reached the gardenia note! My Ylang Ylang Espresso sample which I gave to my best friend after really not liking it on me at all has gone down a storm with her – she loves it. Can see the shop being on my next London ‘to do’ list.
Thank you both!
Bloom perfumery on Floral Street is wonderful, well worth a visit, there is also a Diptique there.
