Niche line Bond no. 9 has launched Greenwich Village, a new fragrance.
With Greenwich Village, Bond No. 9 brilliantly captures one of New York’s most beloved neighborhoods in scent. It is a celebration of individuality and creativity, and the rich heritage of the city’s artists and intelligentsia, and the community they created. The result is an oriental vanilla with a touch of light floridity.
I will update with notes when I can. [Update: cassis, lychee, mandarin, peony, waterlily, jasmine petals, ambrox, peach musk, vanilla, oak moss and praline.]
Bond no. 9 Greenwich Village is available now at Saks, $405 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Seriously? Floridity?
what do you think floridity is?
I’m thinking they meant floralcy, but who knows?
Per google, “an archaic word for flowery.”
I suspect this is a men’s, just because it is the same bottle design as Lafayette Street — maybe they didn’t want to use the word flower because masculinity.
That is a really steep price. I know not the steepest, but still.
ZOMG! How did I not see not see that price tag??? Distracted by bad perfume writing, I guess.
Bond has raised their prices quite a bit over the past few years.
