I forgot to mention, my girl kitty has the funniest reaction to the scent! She really doesn’t care about perfumes; I’ve brought other scents that others’ cats are strongly affected by (I think SSS Rose Musc among them) up to her nosie, and she just sniffs and moves on with her life. But with this one, she just kept sniffing and sniffing and SCRUNCHING UP HER NOSE.
And her brother, who cares about very little indeed, sniffed a bunch, FROWNED, and then sniffed again. I might be projecting a little but not much!

Thanks, GateGirl 🙂 We don’t really expect him to get better (cancer; the chemo meds have pretty much stopped working), but I hope he has months of happy silliness ahead before he starts hurting too much. The home visit vet we talked to said that she’s seen cases of cats having a good life for a full year at this point! That’s what we’re hoping for.
