Lalique will launch Illusion Captive, a new addition to the luxury Noir Premier collection, with packaging inspired by René Lalique’s Libellule (Dragonfly) brooch.
Illusion Captive was developed by perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. The notes include bergamot, fig leaves, cinnamon, rose, jasmine, cedar, patchouli, cistus labdanum, vanilla, tonka bean and myrrh.
Lalique Illusion Captive will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I am not easily charmed by bottles, but this bottle looks gorgeous! 🙂
Oh yes!
Wow, even the cap on the bottle is gorgeous.
The whole presentation so many levels away from our friend TF’s Fckng Fbls.
I agree!
But no info on pricing. Probably not cheap….
Oh well. Smell first. Ask questions later… 😉
Other scents in the Noir Premier Collection cost £180 for 100 ml edp, so I guess this will, as well. It’s being presented as a luxury line.
It’s a bit of a jump from the (approximately) £123 price for some of their popular scents, such as Amethyst (my favorite), Perles de Lalique, and Encre Noir would be about £152. These are all available (only?) in 50 ml bottles for half that price. I hope they will offer the Noir line in smaller bottles. If I fall in love with one or two of these, I would buy! The notes in this one sound like it would appeal to me.
I’m wondering if they are going to produce some amazing limited edition bottles for unearthly prices.
Yep, it’s nice looking.
Not only is the bottle beautiful, but I love the perfume notes.
Sounds like it could be interesting, yes.
I’m not usually swayed by bottle porn, but man that bottle is cool.
Some of the earlier releases in this series have shown up at deep discounts, and the packaging is beautiful.
Wow that’s a bottle you want to pick up! I’ll be hoping it smells great.
