Floral designer Eric Buterbaugh, in collaboration with California hat maker Nick Fouquet, has launched Nick's Sunflower, a new fragrance that imagines what a sunflower would smell like if it had a scent.
Nick's Sunflower was developed by perfumer Ilias Ermenidis. The notes include linden flower, quince, lychee, narcisse, nectarine, orange blossom, tiare, jasmin, osmanthus, tuberose, muscenone (musk note) and ambrox.
Eric Buterbaugh + Nick Fouquet Nick's Sunflower is available in 10 ($75), 100 ($295) and 200 ($495) ml.
(via press release)
That’s a really pretty bottle! Might have to try this one.
It’s the same bottle they use for the whole line, so you’ll have your pick 🙂
Are they all dabbers with no markings? (or is it just me that can’t see?) I agree – gorgeous bottle.
There is a design on the bottle, see:

But I don’t know if any of the sizes other than the 10 are spray. The 10 is a spray.
I’ve been dying to try the Eric Buterbaugh line. The reviews I’ve read rave about them, and the notes in this sound fantastic (mmm linden, quince, lychee, orange blossom…!).
I’m kind of afraid of falling in love with something in this price range, though, because it’s happened before and was a disaster for my wallet. 😉
At least there is the 10 ml, I guess? But yes, it is not a bargain line.
Oh boy. Their website is really cool. The Tuberose might be calling my name, but wow.
We are certainly seeing (for my happiness) a revival of narcissus as a note and protagonist in fragrances. Would love to try this one.
