The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 7 May 2017 14 Comments

L'Artisan Parfumeur's new bath range has finally made it to the US. At the top of my wish list, La Chasse Aux Papillons Body Lotion (300 ml for $36) and Timbuktu Shower Gel (300 ml for $32).

From the L’Artisan website, and I would guess eventually from all the US L’Artisan retailers.

    That’s a great price point.

Yes — I’m surprised. Philosykos is $44 for 200 ml, now you can get Premier Figuier for much less. Of course, maybe the Diptyque formula is way better?

My thoughts too. Their attitude of not totally banning middle class makes me cherish the brand. Go L’Artisain!

🙂 Smell like you have been making cheeseburgers at a BBQ and drinking beer! Extremely attractive to a certain sort…

Oooh, does the shower gel come in Voleur de Roses? My credit card is cringing in anticipation . . .

No — but you might want to check the French site, I don’t know if they have a bigger selection.

Looks like only five scents are on offer, presumably their best sellers: L’Eau d’Ambre ExtrĂŞme, Timbuktu, Premier Figuier, La Chasse aux papillons et MĂ»re et Musc ExtrĂŞme. It’s a safe guess that if those sell, others will be added to the line. I’d gladly shell out for a Safran Troublant shower gel.

Hello Timbuktu shower gel! That’s my next one I guess, after I finish the Lush one.
