Demeter has launched Petrichor, the latest addition to their Fragrance Library.
Paging Dr. Who Fans! Remember the episode of ‘Dr. Who ’, where the doctor flies into the future and stumbles across a giant advertisement for a new perfume, with Amy Pond as the face of the new fragrance, and the slogan "For the Girl Who Is Tired of Waiting"?
Now, the wait is over!
With Petrichor, we’ve captured that very special earthy scent created when rain falls on dry soil, so you can step right into your own TARDIS without Amy’s password! For the girl or boy who’s tired of waiting, Demeter’s Petrichor fragrance allows you to travel through time and space straight to the refreshing smell of earth after rain.
Demeter Petrichor is available in 15, 30 or 120 ml Cologne ($6 - $39.50).

Kitten fur, now Petrichor?? I gotta find these. A lemming is born.
I would love to know how it differs from Thunderstorm? They sure sound similar:

Maybe this is Thunderstorm without the ozone stuff.
Sounds like straight-up Geosmin (literally earth smell) to me. It’s a natural material made up of some sort of bacteria. Very expensive, but one of the strongest smelling substances so you don’t need much.
Could be!
I hope Mark Crames brings samples to Sniffa…or better yet, I hope to find a bottle or one of the keychain atomizers in the goodie bag!
Good luck!
