Vilhelm Parfumerie Harlem Bloom & Do Not Disturb ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 21 March 2017 5 Comments

Vilhelm Parfumerie Harlem Bloom

Niche line Vilhelm Parfumerie has launched two new fragrances, Harlem Bloom and Do Not Disturb.

Harlem Bloom (shown) ~ "Inspired by the very charming and vibrant New York neighborhood of Harlem, it is an ode to the place that [Vilhelm founder Jan Ahlgren] and his wife call home. [...] Harlem Bloom is floral and soft with airy top notes of saffron, violet and damascena rose. Lying beneath, there is a hardiness from its roots of ebony woods and wild leather." Additional notes include angelica seeds.

Do Not Disturb ~ introduced in 2016 as an exclusive to Violet Grey. "This exclusive scent was created to capture the glamorous heyday of Hollywood, recalling scenes of Marilyn Monroe and the Rat Pack drinking cocktails at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Not your typical floral, a heart note of carnation is unexpectedly warmed with clove and sweetened with rich cassis, while vetiver and papyrus provide a smoky wood undercurrent that make the fragrance at once confident and alluring." Additional notes include ylang ylang.

Vilhelm Parfumerie Harlem Bloom and Do Not Disturb are available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Very busy! But not so busy as some and I like the scents, so I forgive!

Curious to try Harlem given that it’s a mere 30 or so blocks from where I call home.
