Book Announcement ~ Angela M. Sanders

Blown Away by Clover Tate and Cat in a Bag by Angela M Sanders

It's a big month for me! I have two new books out: Blown Away (Berkley Prime Crime) under my pen name Clover Tate; and Cat in a Bag (Widow's Kiss), the second Booster Club caper. Blown Away is a classic cozy mystery and the first of a new series of Kite Shop mysteries. It's a bit toned down from my usual quirky style (although I couldn't resist adding a Watergate reenactment club).

In Cat in a Bag, I let screwball reign, and the residents of the Villa Saint Nicholas — a retirement home for petty criminals — take the lead as they spring an art forger from prison so she can make amends for her crimes. I think this is my best book yet, but you be the judge.

Blown Away is on Kindle, iBooks, Nook, Kobo, and in paperback for $7.99 at Powell’s Books and Amazon. Cat in a Bag is $3.99 on Kindle, iBooks, Nook, and Kobo, and $4.99 on Google Play. The paperback is in the works.

If you're curious about publishing or writing, or if you have questions about these books, don't hesitate to leave a comment.

I can’t wait to read about the Watergate reenactment club. What a marvelous accomplishment, Angela.

Thank you! Sheer hard-headedness and a lot of time at the keyboard are what got me there. (And the Watergate reenactment club was the perfect excuse for someone to say, “follow the money.”)

Thank you! And have an alter ego is kind of fun. I’ve invented all kinds of back stories for her, from Cher’s back-up singer to a graduate of the Welsh astronaut program.

I’ll have to let Clover know about that title as soon as she returns from her Chinese language class (she’s the instructor, of course).

Congratulations, Angela! I always wonder what everyone around here is up to when they’re not NST-ing. When I saw your website homepage, I got an idea of your humor and maybe a little bit of darkness that appeals to me. I’m looking forward to reading your “other” work and getting to know more of who you are. Again, congratulations! ????????????????????????

Thank you! Isn’t the photo on my homepage hilarious? Did you see the dead guy’s legs in the corner?

Congratulations Angela! I have enjoyed your mysteries so much but haven’t read the first Booster Club caper, do I need to read it before Cat in the Bag? Great titles btw and Clover Tate is a terrific pseudonym :)

Thank you! You don’t have to read The Booster Club first, but it does give you good background since the villain appears as a point-of-view character in Cat in a Bag. I had so much fun writing both of those books.

Haven’t read the Clover Tate yet, but the Booster Club books are a lot of fun! Heartily recommend, and not just because we know Angela.

Congratulations Angela! ❤ what an accomplishment!
I’ll zoom over to look! Mysteries are my favorite so I’m excited. Are your books on audible? I read old school too, but I listen a bit more these days. Love the cover of Blown Away!

Thank you so much! No, they’re not on audible yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Blown Away ends up there eventually. I love mysteries, too!
