Interesting concept-Robin, Have you ever tried this kind of fragrance booster before? Thoughts?
It does not strike me as being any different than any other layering you might do, to be honest — they don’t have any “boosting” ingredients that you couldn’t find in whatever you already wear. For instance, Blur is an aldehydic musk, so indeed that would “blur” any sharp / distinct notes, because that’s what aldehydes generally do. But it doesn’t have some fancy new property so far as I know. Glow is basically citrus. So, there is your radiance.
Plus, they are dry body oils, which do not tend to hold scent well long term — I would be very suspicious of their shelf life. In the short term, though, that is, in a single wearing, the silicone base might make your fragrance last longer, esp. if you have very dry skin. But you could accomplish the same thing with any fragranced dry body oil.
I didn’t know anything about the formulas and how they lasted-so thanks for all the information. That’s helpful!
