Italian brand Etro will launch ManRose, a new fragrance for men, in March.
ManRose is for the elegant, cosmopolitan man who 'defines his gentleness as strength'. The notes include bergamot, Szechuan pepper, cardamom, elemi, rose, geranium, incense, patchouli, vetiver, musk, leather, amber and precious woods .
Etro ManRose will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I hope this will be a “mainly rose” I am looking for since Ungaro III
Good luck! Etro usually does a good job.
Have you tried Histoires de Parfums 1876? It’s classed as feminine, but I find it to be a masculine rose, quite dry.
Hi nicolasix,
not yet, I will add it to my test-list
Thanks
To me, there’s something amusing about the name, like man bun, etc.
I hope it’s good, as I like the idea of a masculine rose in principle, but I’m worried about “precious woods.” In the post Mysore sandalwood age, that usually means those nasty, spiky notes.
Yes,I’m with you on all points.Plus all woods are precious these days,if you look at the ever-dwindling rainforests etc etc.The brand is underrated though, both for their fashion and perfumes-in my opinion.
