Niche line Régime des Fleurs has launched five new fragrances, all developed by perfumer Mathieu Nardin: Cacti, Falling Trees, Glass Blooms, Gold Leaves and Willows.
Cacti ~ "Vivid. Quenching. Crisp. Many of the Huichols and North American peyotists claim that when one eats peyote, one is "tasting oneself: if the user is pure, this cactus is "sweet." - Peter Stafford, author of Psychedelics Encyclopedia" With bergamot, shiso, black tea, jasmine, heliotrope, cucumber water, maté, amber and aloe vera.
Falling Trees ~ "Fresh. Smoldering. Majestic. [Trees] learn and remember; nurse sick neighbors; warn each other of danger ... and, for reasons unknown, keep the ancient stumps of long-felled companions alive for centuries. - Peter Wohlleben, forester and author" With elemi, juniper, olibanum, myrrh, treemoss, cypriol, benzoin and oak.
Glass Blooms ~ "Satin. Confectionery. Fragile. [These] flower petals look as if they’d quiver at the nearby buzzing of a bee. As botanical specimens they can be admired; as glass replicas, they are wondrous. - Edward Rothstein, cultural critic, on the 19th-century botanical studies of Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka at Cambridge" With Riesling grape, muguet, tea rose, peony, ylang ylang, sandalwood, tonka bean, ambrette and musk.
Gold Leaves ~ "Opulent. Tonic. Heady. This crown to crown the laughing man, this rose-wreath crown: I myself have set this crown upon my head, I myself have pronounced my laughter holy. - Friedrich Nietzsche, philosopher" With laurel leaves, cedrat, cardamom, fleurs de lys, pittosporum flowers, iris, white cedar, oakmoss, cypriol and fossilized amber.
Willows ~ "Cool. Dignified. Powdery. Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance. Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence. Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance. - Yoko Ono, artist" With white pepper, carrot seed, mimosa, orris, rye, violet and tonka bean.
Régime des Fleurs Cacti, Falling Trees, Glass Blooms, Gold Leaves and Willows are available now at the Régime des Fleurs website., $200 each for 100 ml.

What are the side-effects of perfume copywriting, I am wondering. An inability to write if the pen ink is not purple? Wearing feather boas everyone? Meeting reality and fervently hoping it goes away? The PR department of Régime des Fleurs is cunningly avoiding any such dangers by using quotes.
LOL!
It’s more interesting than what PR has been usually serving us and the quotes are not exactly obvious. For me, they have made a good job and i’m curious now in trying them.
Thank you! We are a two-person company so we do the PR ourselves 😀
😀 😀 😀
A line I’ve never heard of (not unusual, I couldn’t keep up if I tried) that is selling big bottles for high dollars and no online samples available. One of my biggest pet peeves in the perfume world.
Lately 200 dollars 100ml is quite “cheap”, most of recently launches are asking 300-400 dollars for that size. But i have no online samples too =/
Luckyscent carries the line if you want to buy samples.
Hi Robin. Happy to send samples to anyone who requests them. Just send a note to info@regimedesfleurs.com
