British niche line Ormonde Jayne has launched Jardin d’Ombre, a new fragrance exclusive to Fortnum & Mason.
Captivate the senses with Ormonde Jayne’s light, sensual fragrance Jardin d’Ombre. Exclusively created for Fortnum’s, notes of citrusy bergamot and Sicilian lime blends with a heady floral heart. Sandalwood, amber and patchouli add a distinguished spicy wood base that illuminates this garden of shadows.
Additional notes include orange, orris, jasmine, rose, orchid and musk.
Ormonde Jayne Jardin d’Ombre is £195 for 120 ml Eau De Parfum.

My heart used to skip a beat whenever there’s an announcement of a new OJ. Not sure if it was the most recent one but Vanilla Iris did not work for me (will try when cooler). The other ones were priced at strathospheric levels and I lost interest. Anyway, I’ll be in London in late December / early January and may just take a sniff of this one if it happens to be available at whatever shop I end up in. I have not yet planned out my shopping itinerary 🙂
Ditto! Nowhere near as interested as I used to be.
3rd ish.
Not as excited as I used to be but still pretty optimistic. Woman is great, Ta’if is gorgeous and rich, and Tiare is earth shatteringly beautiful. I seriously think Tiare is a brilliant masterpiece.
Their recent releases: not so much. But then again, I don’t think the Four Corners were expected to be perfumista hits. I don’t think they were aimed at us.
But OJ”s earlier work is pretty stellar imho.
