French fashion house Courrèges has launched Hyperbole, a new fragrance for women. The fragrance is named for the brand's ready-to-wear line, introduced by Andrè Courrèges in 1970, and purports to upset convention with masculine notes revealing 'ultra femininity'.
2016, daring to fly in the face of convention, Courrèges creates Hyperbole, a provocatively feminine perfume with notes of tobacco. Hyperbole breaks the codes. The classic masculine notes of white pepper and tobacco express their feminine side. Tamed by vanilla, tonka bean and patchouli, they evoke perfect femininity. A hyper-feminine scent defines sensuality with a dazzling explosion of spices.
Hyperbole was developed by perfumers Antoine Lie and Jean Jacques. The notes for the spicy oriental include white pepper, bergamot, tobacco flower, tonka bean, cocoa, vanilla and patchouli.
Courrèges Hyperbole is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

A spicy oriental with tobacco sounds pretty wonderful. Has anyone ever encountered any Courrèges perfume in the wild?
Never.
I got both Empreinte and Eau de Courreges from a discounter (Marshall’s) at the same time as they were released to “normal” stores. I assume that it’s a type of promotional thing. This one might go the same route…
In the photo, the bottles look like plastic keychains (haven’t seen them in person).
From another angle:

OOOOOOOOOOOHHHJJ!
🙂
Though the name fits the copy, I have to say I have seen much more hyperbolic perfume ads… To the point that it seems nearly a waste to be using it here.
This is being promoted during Paris fashion week in LeCab cars – there’s a 10% off code at least. I wonder if there will be samples? Will find out Friday I guess.
