Happy Hump Day, and happy Scotch Whiskey Day. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm trying Ferragamo Tuscan Scent Leather Rose.
Reminder: on 7/29, we're doing Huesday on Friday — wear a fragrance inspired by Limpet Shell and/or Peach Echo, colors from Pantone's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. You can find the image and color descriptions here.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2016, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Hi! Im so happy as I have finally found the vintage Guerlain Mitsouko perfume box at an old market for only €10. It is now decorating my living room.
I’m wearing Adam Vetiver Extraodinaire from a sample. It’s wonderful but lasts one hour on my skin. This evening will be wearing Chanel 19 EDP.
Lovely find, congrats!
That is very nice find. I am waiting impatiently for the vintage Mitsouko I have ordered on Etsy.
That’s exactly my complaint with FM Vet Extra – it’s remarkably fleeting, especially given how heavy many of his other perfumes are.
Not Adam, I meant FM..
SOTD is Phaedon “Oriental Mint”, whose opening blast of non-toothpasty mint is pretty refreshing. The mint disappears quickly though, and the remaining peppery woodsy dry down is nothing special.
Phaedon is yet another vehicle for Pierre Guillaume, who is evidently spreading himself a bit thin these days. :^)
I think he has ADD. Too many lines with too many perfumes. Though, I did just buy one from his Huitieme Art line. It’s neither original, nor particularly complex, but I just really like it (Poudre de Riz).
SOTD is Divine L’Eternel Féminin.
I mean L’Être aimé femme.
Lovely!
Hi Austenfan. I know you smell great…I never responded to your question about the Wintereise book. I have a paperback. I enjoyed it, though some people found it had too many digressions. Anyway, it got me back into music and I have also been enjoying listening to Peteris Vasks choral works on these cold days.
Thanks for replying. I’ve put it on my Amazon wishlist. I adore Winterreise and I’ve been meaning to read more about it for years. I’ve also found a lovely German edition of the original series of poems by Wilhelm Müller.
Talking of choral music: have you ever listened to Tallis’s Spem in Alium?
I hope you had a brilliant time in the snow. I used to love camping but I think camping in winter conditions is beyond me. You are a brave woman!
Thanks for the Tallis suggestion.
The camping was cold and dark but at least it was dry.
Songes!
Lovely
Ditto on the lovely.
DIORADDICT.
All caps required. 😉
My mom seemed to like that one when I took her on a mini sniffing adventure at Sephora – maybe I should hook her up with a bottle.
Is yours new or vintage? I actually don’t even know if there’s a difference, but I’m curious.
Mine was manufactured in 2010, though I have backup bottles from 2003-2004.
Raiders of the Lost Scent is a great resource for dating bottles.
This version is pre-reformulation and smells like the 2002 original.
There is a 2012 version that I’ve not smelled, apparently poorly received.
They reformulated again in 2014. The bottles are subtly different each time.
YouTube has videos that are helpful.
HTH and do get your Mother a bottle, it smells heavenly.
One of my DESERT ISLAND scents.
: D
Wow – wasn’t expecting so much detail! This is fabulous – thank you! Taking note of all of this.
You’re welcome!
Triple strength coffee helps. LOL
What are your desert island scents? Or is that too personal a question? Do you have both Kouros and Dior Addict …you’re allowed up to, but not exceeding 31 perfumes.
Not too personal, I’m an open book.
Some, but not all – Shalimar, DIORADDICT, Egoiste, No22, Fahrenheit, Kouros, Opoponax Les Nereides, Hypnotic Poison, Habanita, Theorema, Ambre Sultan. Partial list.
It better be a BIG island. LOL
How about yours, Kanuka ?
Well, I’d prefer a cold island to a tropical one (for a start) … actually the South Island of New Zealand is pretty good for me.
Feu d’Issey
Terre d’Hermes
Pohadka (and maybe Lale )
Yohji – Yohji Yamamoto from the mid 1990s…wore out a bottle
Something Serge Lutens…the dry end
POISON GIRL!!!
And original Opium – for old times sake
In this HEAT???? (ALL CAPS REQUIRED FOR HEAT)
YEP !
I’m sure you can smell me, Philly to NYC !
LOL. 😉
Ah, was wondering what that was…
: D
Just read your review. LOL
Different folks, different strokes.
😀
Absolutely.
hajussuri- I was thinking of you yesterday when I doused myself in ADDICT
Lovely….I was your scent twin yesterday…four hefty sprays on each arm during my Sephora visit…I bought the original when it first came out…current version, while still lovely, smells less lush to me….unfortunately I drained the original bottle years ago….
You smell great chocolatemarzipan! !!
🙂
SOTD is Volnay Brume d’Hiver. My daughter loves rose, but my son loves this one.
Morning Y’all!
SOTD: Escada Born in Paradise. Summery fruit cocktail. My latest Scentbird sample, chosen by my 12 yr old, watermelon lovin’ girl! 🙂
Now I think you have to buy her a bottle 😉
Our newest addiction is Sheet Masks! We’ve been doing all kinds of beauty masks lately. The Korean sheet masks are fun and easy to use, and pretty good stuff.
She LOVES to go to Lush, and pick out a bath bomb every so often. Those suckers are expensive, so it’s a treat. Spoiled, high maintenance women we are! HA HA 🙂
Day two with Amouage Myths, this time Man. At the moment it’s fascinating – oily Lemon Pledge used to wipe out an slightly soiled ash tray then whoops – what’s that? Don’t know yet! This should be fun!
Kevin will have a review of AM later today! But I think he & Angie both preferred AW.
Ooh – I can’t wait to find out what his take on it is! I prefer AW, too.
Just a quick thank you for the Songes….somewhere along the way it turns to pure cumin on my skin….and yet, the whole wear from beginning to end fascinates me….my niece adores it (go figure!) so I gave her the generous sample 🙂
Un Air de First jumped in my hand this morning, so had to wear it. It wasn’t planned, but I would say it leans to limpet shell.
I picked those colors, and am having a hard time deciding on the right fragrance.
They were good color picks Robin. It wouldn’t be fun if it was too easy.
I don’t even know if it makes sense to me, I don’t think my mind works this way (smell to colour) but just thought I’d take a shot at it; )
Color to fragrance does make sense to me, but not these particular colors! Or, they just aren’t in my collection. I could do a peach scent, but that seems like cheating. But I might end up cheating.
Penhaligon’s Elixir for me today–spicy, rosy incense.
I am drinking some New Vithanakande Estate Ceylon with some twisty silvery leaves. Very nice.
You smell great and I want your tea 🙂
That is my favourite Ceylon tea, it’s great and such a nice looking tea as well.
Love Elixir! Have you tried DP Dark Horse? Haven’t researched, but they share similarities. (Some day I need to do a side by side comparison to figure it out!)
LOVE Dark Horse but to my nose there isn’t much dark about it…it comes off very gourmand on my skin….
Didn’t have time to post yesterday, which was too bad because I was quasi-twins with Robin in Le Galion Iris. Today is supposed to be the beginning of a serious warming trend, weather-wise, so SOTD is Eau Claire des Merveilles layered over Eau des Merveilles.
We may end up twins again later today, that sounds perfect and when it warms up, I’m going to have to replace this Leather Rose.
Not a fan, or just wearing off?
No, just too hot to be wearing Leather Rose — it’s well done but not for 90+ weather.
Of course – and that probably should have been my first guess.
The EdM/ECdM pairing is really wonderful in the heat – it has a sort of dry aura that’s lovely and cooling.
Hi, half-twin!
Eau des Merveilles for the win!
Hi tiffanie! EdM is gorgeous by itself, of course, but have you tried the layering combo?
I have a sample of Eau Clair des Merveilles which didn’t do much for me, so I will definitely try layering if over Eau des Merveilles to see what happens. Great idea!
I dug Eau des Merveilles out of my purgatory box over the weekend and wound up falling in love. So briny and sensual!
It IS rather sensual, isn’t it? I never really thought about it in that sense, but you’re right. I do love the salty note in it.
Another half twin! I’d try the combo but don’t have any of the Eau Claire. Just samples of Elixer and Ambre. But, it’s been awhile so enjoying this saltiness again.
Got an email from Chanel this morning, reminding me that Fri is Nat’l Lipstick Day…dust off your MACs, Robin!
CSP’s Pamplemousse today, another humid scorcher on deck.
Ha, maybe I’ll actually wear lipstick for the holiday 😉
I’m a lipstick gal. Will be celebrating!
SOTD MCG Sideris. Delish.
Yum, can I sit next to you? I almost wore that today but didn’t have time to pull it out of storage.
I’m curious if Sideris reminds you of Vanille 44?
Aww. Thanks! I’m not sure if I’ve tried that LL.
I have a tiny decant of Vanille 44. I really liked it but thought is was somewhat similar to Sideris, which I already own. I wouldn’t mind having a bottle if it fell in my lap.
Money saved????But it does work nicely in the heat, just as thegoddessrena claims. Probably even better in the evening when it’s warm but not glaringly sunny.
Glad that you’re also finding it good in the heat. You smell good
Started with David(?) Jourquin’s Cuir Tabac, but it was too lavendery for me, so washed it off and now in Soivohle’s Leather Crem. Yum.
Scent cousins! I’m in a different Soivohle scent.
I didn’t have a chance to post yesterday but wore Box of Eels. Today I’m wearing Meringa and enjoying it tremendously. The weather has been brutally hot but it’s supposed to dip back into the 80’s by the end of this week.
You smelled lovely yesterday, and I bet you do today too, though I’m not sure I’ve smelled Meringa – who makes it?
Profumum, it’s an Oswald’s exclusive scent. I got in on a split. I’m not positive who was the wonderful perfume fairy who hosted the split. Possibly Foxbins? It was a blind buy but she described Meringa as lemon meringue and that was all I needed to know.
Cazaubon hosted the split, I got in on it too. Meringa is lovely stuff, I should wear it more. You smell delicious.
Ugh… thanks for correcting me! 🙂 Cazaubon has great taste in perfume.
Glad you are enjoying it!
It was cazaubon as I got in on the same split 🙂
Thanks Hajusuuri. I hope you had a great vacation. I enjoyed reading the descriptions that you posted.
Scentless right now. Having an off day and feeling a lack of motivation and excitement, both in terms of scent and work, today. It’ll pass. Maybe the heat has just worn me down. I’m meant for spring and fall – not summer and winter! And I suspect I’m not alone.
I’m right there with you! I hope you perk up! 🙂
Glad I’m not alone!
I had three cups of strong tea this morning instead of my usual two, and I’m still dragging.
I understand your feeling. I am also physically exhausted, weak and very sleepy. I am blaming it to the heat. Drinking lots of iced coffee but not helping. Hopefully we will have a relief by the end of the week. We will survive 🙂
And then someone just sent me a sleepy-eyed cat video, and now I just want to do as the kitty was doing…
Joining you.
NYC heat can really wear people down. Lots of cooling drinks, take a cool shower and take naps when needed!
I feel like a nap underneath my desk is both earned and appropriate right now.
+1 for naps at work 😀
We need an amendment to The Bill of Rights-the right to a daily siesta!
Someone get on this!
Pulling a George Constanza you would be… 😉
sleeping under the desk! 🙂
One of his most justifiable acts, if you ask me.
I had a boss way back when who did that. Just close his door and lay under the desk.
I had another boss who had a couch. He’d shut the door and ask me to knock in 45 minutes.
Both men are quite successful, by the way,
Love this! Now if it were a woman would she be able to get away with this? Seems the gals are held to higher standards in everything.
I had a female coworker who reportedly pulled the Costanza on a regular basis (I never witnessed it.) One of my (male) bosses took a nap every day in his desk chair after lunch. Had another female coworker who napped in her car every day at lunch.
I find all of the above quite odd, as I’d never be able to – or want – to fall asleep in public. That said, I’m one of those people who isn’t good at napping (I have to be on the verge of collapse to pull it off) which makes me envious of those who can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, any time, any where. My husband is one of them…
I can’t nap anywhere, and while the under the desk nap thing was a joke, I really would enjoy having this skill. And I think Floragal’s right – I think men would find it much easier to get away with this.
Too much heat is just too much. Napping and cool showers and maybe vetiver scents help.
I am pro-nap (where I can get one, which is at home) and I’ve almost used up my fabulous verbena-scented body wash, which is nice and invigorating for the summer. May need to get more.
I’m meant for summer, but this is too much even for me 🙂
Wow! I’m impressed.
Seville a l’Aube, and I’m not actually sure if I like this or hate this. I am, regardless, fascinated
Ha! I have the same issues with Seville. I thought I liked it but it seemed a little flat the last time I wore it. It could be that I just need a fresh sample.
My sample is languishing in the I Don’t Know pile…
I sort of feel the same, sometimes it’s perfect and sometimes it seems too much. Feel bad though as I have a large bottle and need to use it more. Maybe September is a good time to wear it more regularly, it sort of seems autumnal in a funny way.
I know a lot of people wear it in warm weather, but I’ve tried and cannot abide. For me it’s a winter scent.
I like it a lot but it’s too hot for it now.
Humpday!
1) It’s gonna be very warm today, so SOTD is a all over spraying of Satsuma body mist with a tiny bit of Jour d’Hermes Absolue(from a sample). Citrusy and airy!
2) OOTD: A printed linen dress, black sandals under a labcoat!
3) I do the inspection of he house I bid on TOMORROW. Boy, is this expensive! I do hope that this comes out okay!
Jour d’Hermes is a radiant scent, linen is a fabulous look, and things will be better than okay!
Thank you!
After I am flush again I think I should get a full bottle of Jour d’Hermes. It truly is lovely, and warm weather brings out all the facets.
Don’t get freaked out at the inspection report–every one I’ve ever had makes it sound like the house should be condemned. Sewer, electricity, and roof issues are the only things that concerned me, mostly because of safety issues and/or $$$ to fix.
LOL! The language employed sounds so bad. I will be with the inspector for 4 hours, so hopefully the major things- wiring, sewer, and roofing- are all chill and we can move forward.
I would add foundation issues to the list of issues that should cause concern
Oh but of course! Because of the structure of my loan (FHA 5%) that would be a hard pass! The only thing at this point that gives me butterflies is that the home is located on Rocky Butte, which has bloody awesome views BUT there may be radon/earthquake stuff.
Have you gotten quotes for homeowners insurance? Sounds expensive.
Satsuma is really delicious. Will have to try layering the oil with the Hermes….
I’m back at work after being out sick for two days and needed something easy that I love so I’m wearing Annick Goutal Neroli.
Glad you’re feeling better.
That is a VERY pretty scent.
You smell great!
Spent most of the morning on Amazon, shopping for my dad’s birthday gift and checking the status of an order. I’m doing the happy dance. I spent a $100 on the Amouage 12 decant set and with gift cards, it came to only $26. It’s coming today and I am bathed in Shalimar today and I should have worn Lyric today.
Wow! Nice deal. And you smell great in Shalimar. Lyric would’ve been a winner, too.
SOTD = Prada Infusion d’Iris Absolue
I was inspired by She-ra’s SOTD yesterday and nozknoz’ comment that it’s “CHILL” 🙂
I am wearing a long-forgotten short-sleeved berry-colored square-necked linen shirt. I don’t typically wear linen because the fabric is too high maintenance (this particular shirt is dry clean only). I will look into washable line although I may have to get over my aversion to ironing (I don’t even own an iron so will need to use my mini-steamer).
You look and smell fabulous. I d’I Absolue is perfect any day and especially in warm weather. Chill, indeed.
I love to wear linen, and I don’t have an iron. It’s a problem I chose to ignore. 🙂
Of course now I’m beginning to think that I am the one who’s high maintenance and not the linen 🙂
Chillin’ in linen’… 😉
Welcome back!
Thank you!
I wear a lot of linen, and wash it all in the sink with cold water, and skip the iron — but then, “rumply-chic” is kinda my jam…
I’ll make do with rumply chic on weekends. We have a business casual policy at work and rumpled is in the NO column 🙂
The other drawback to ironing linen is that when you wear it, the creases from bending your arms or sitting stand out even more.
I have a ton of linen and I throw it in the washer and dryer to soften it. But most of mine is for casual wear.
Bring your linen over! I like ironing. I find it soothing.
I think both Lands End and Uniqlo have washable linen and even if it says hand wash I’ll throw it in the washer in the hand wash setting!
Me too, I love ironing. Very calming and meditative.
I do own an iron, but it’s still NIB. I prefer the hand-held steamer which seems pretty ineffective with linen, in my experience. Maybe it works with light weight linens.
That sounds about like my iron. I do have one.. I sometimes even remember that I have one and where it is. But I don’t think I’ve ever actually used it.
I also had one NIB which I’ve had for 15 years. I gave it away a few months ago.
Hey, hajusurri! Missed you on here but do hope you had a fantastic vacation.
Yes! I feel recharged! I have a shortish family event coming up next week so more travel is in my immediate future!
Thanks, everyone, for the welcome back yesterday and today! A sign that it was a great vacation was I forgot my work password on my first day back in the office 🙂
Good morning, NST. It’s wonderful to be here.
I am once again friends with my beloved Eau des Merveilles. Yes to Hermès!
As I read the announcement on NST for Galop d’Hermès, the bottle’s leather cording reminded that I have an Eau des Merveilles mini with a little loop on the cap. I put a cord through it so I can wear an Eau des Merveilles necklace today. 🙂
What fun!
SOTD is Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc. As I doubt if I will be going to the beach this summer (or anywhere for that matter), I’ll bring the beach to me by wearing beachy fragrances…and I have several.
Beachy fragrances will be perfect for Huesday on Friday.
Curious to know what your other beach fragrances are?
Good morning 🙂
I’m currently drinking a cup of hot chamomile tea, and wearing Sonoma Scent Studio Fig Tree. We spent a few days in Napa last week, and when I wear this, it reminds me of my trip.
Gosh, have not been there in years. Hope it was fun!
It was a lot of fun, and the weather was beautiful!
Oh, I love Napa! It’s the place I visualize when I need to have a “serenity now” moment. What was the most delicious wine you tried?
I loved visiting Groth Vineyards — so beautiful and great wines!
I spent last week at the beach (family vacation) and the beginning of this week buried in work at the office – I guess it was worth it!
SOTD is Lolita Lempika L, a nice change from all the sheer roses and citrusy colognes I’ve been wearing this summer.
It’s supposed to get hot here later, so I’m wearing EL Tuberose Gardenia and hoping to be enveloped in a BWF scent bubble this afternoon.
You smell great! I picked up a mini of this on ebay recently, wondering if I’d like it as much as I recalled from when it came out, which was the last time I’d smelled it. Fortunately, it’s pretty as ever!
I wore this a few weeks ago and forgot how lovely it is!
Sampling YSL Mon Paris…
Your garden variety pink fruitchouli…to call it a chypre is a stretch imho.
For some reason I am particularly noticing the ravaging effects of heat on fragrance this summer…perhaps I am just paying closer attention but perfume really breaks down so much faster with the heat and sun.
I am in San Diego so it will be warm to hot in herre 😉 through Sept or Oct…le sigh…
L’Ombre Dans l’Eau today — so glad this is available in 30 ml bottles now! There’s a lot of ombre in the air today, with the smoke from the Big Sur fire drifting up our way. The sky is sepia toned and the sunlight coppery. Sending hopes for safety and calm for anyone near any of the current wildfires!
I need to take them up on the 30ml offer for Philosykos – it’s a perfect size!
Good luck – I’ve seen photos that look apocalyptic.
Fleur de Chine this morning. I then sprayed some Chanel Gardenia before a meeting as it felt both cooling and professional. I do like it but it really is more pretty than anything else.
SOTD Van Cleef & Arpels California Reverie. A lovely citrus-green white flower scent. The jasmine and orange blossom are kind of strong on me for at least 1 hour. The vanilla drydown pretty nice. A very easy to wear fragrance with a moderate longevity and sillage.
Wearing Lonesome Rider today. Simple but so lovely and cooling. I wish this was everyone’s default perfume so I could smell it all day! Selfish, I know.
What a great wish….but there would have to be a revolutionary group of outcasts ( lead by Bear ) wearing Dior Addict, just for good measure.
I love this concept! And I almost loved Lonesome Rider, but the dreaded Plastic Shower Curtain note reared its head at me…
Workplaces should be organized by scent preferences rather than org charts, imo! 😉
Good idea – except I suspect I’d be sent down to the basement
JM Pomegranate Noir layered with JM Orange Blossom cologne.
I think I’ll get a FB of Pom Noir after finishing my mini. It smells like canned tuna in brine but that’s the way I roll apparently. And it’s got incense, too. (Hint: it’s the incense.)
???? I love Pom Noir. It is a good friend’s sig scent. She always smells FAB and not like tuna????
Nice! I like them both but never thought of layering them…
Osmanthus Interdite for me today.
I’m dragging butt today too. Not enough sleep and I agree that the heat is draining.
Lots of really good sales out there, however.
I was in Soho after work yesterday and many shops are doing big sales. Fall clothing is almost here! 🙁
Fall clothing?! Eeek! I still have to buy my summer clothes!!
Go get ’em! The price is right!
It had been really chilly where I live until a few days ago and rather than being cross about not being able to dip into my summer wardrobe yet, I guess I took the “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” approach and spent the last month or so shopping for winter dresses. I started getting really annoyed that shops don’t have sweaters and winter coats out yet, LOL
I’ve always told myself I should buy discounted out of season winter gear in summer to get the best deals, but it’s hard to think about wool in 80 degree weather. When it’s in the low 60s, it makes all the sense in the world :/
Gosh it’s so true. I see these crazy good deals on cashmere sweaters and beautiful coats and yet, why do I want to buy a coat in spring time?
How is it possible to sleep all night long and wake up as tired as when I turned the light out last night? It’s just silly! I’m doing such a major droop thatI should probably wear a cologne-type perfume and re-spray for energising top notes all day, but as I looked at Narcisse Bleu, my hand reached for Back to Black, and whoosh! here I am, smelling all sweet and cuddly, and how very misleading that is! It’s a red boots day, too! Talk about incongruence!
Be well, all.
It’s the winter droop, I think. Have you noticed how much lighter the mornings are? I think our sunrise is now 8.05am and there was a definite smell of spring in the air yesterday.
Yes, and it’s light until after six, though not enough to read by. Definitely getting warmer…hurrah for that!
I hesitate to say this, but it could be important. Does this happen often? Do you snore? Waking up tired is one of the signs of sleep apnea.
You’re so kind to be concerned! I don’t think I snore (the dear one hasn’t complained, in all events, and I think he would) but I do think I may be incubating a ghastly bug of some sort. A colleague was snorting disgustingly all last week, and it seems to have been a friendly and enveloping germ. Also, I think I’ve just about reached my stress limit. When I clear some big projects, I’ll probably feel less exhausted and weighed down. I just need the chance to get to my own work…
AC Ambre Nue today! Many thanks to AnnE for introducing me to this delicious scent.
Whisky Day?!? Ohhh myyy. That calls for some single malt later!
SOTD this fine Wednesday is Pacifica Persian Rose. Had a good thunderstorm last night and hoping for more rain today.
Lounging around avoiding the heat wearing Seville l’aube.
I started my day trying to complete a watercolor that isn’t what I want it to be – the cry of the amateur painter!
I’ve been inspired by Bear to be Diorageous…so am wearing Hypnotic Poison . Poison Girl is screaming with rage from the sock drawer ….a bit of a Joan Crawford / Bette Davis situation has erupted in the bedroom with poor old Monsieur Li ( dressed in his immaculate linen suit) caught in the middle.
You have the makings of a classic film there!
Exciting day here in Wellington, the Australian department store David Jones is opening! Our grand old department store Kirkcaldie and Stains closed in January after 150 years, and it’s been a painful gap in my perfume and cosmetic life.
I don’t know yet what perfume brands David Jones will carry, but there’s sure to be something interesting (and scary for the bank balance). Now I’ve just got to decide what to wear today in honour of the occasion. Maybe OJ Woman, it’s a favourite.
That is exciting…guess you won’t be eating lunch at your desk today?
Am on day 2 of an iris kick; this morning it was ADP Iris Nobile. I was literally signing into STC to buy a large decant of TDC Bois d’Iris when my husband called to report that our car’s at the mechanic getting a $650 fix, so Bois d’Iris will have to wait… 🙁
In other news, I am breaking my medically-restricted diet which forbids tea and enjoying an icy cold glass of Citron Oolong from David’s Tea. It’s oolong, lemon myrtle and jasmine blossoms and is the drinkable equivalent of L’Artisan Thé pour un Été, so I might have to put that one once the iris wears off. It will take more resistance than I have not to drink the entire pitcher I made yesterday. Oops.
Some days you wake up crabby and incapable of decision making, and that’s why you keep a little bit of Mugler cologne in the fridge.
I’m wearing Philosykos today. I’m grumpy because of the gross hot weather. However I’m happy because darn it, I smell amazing! Thank you so much Olivia Giacobetti.
Assam of India ….I know I sound like a broken record…..it is now almost a full month of daily use of Assam with the sampling of goodies from Holly on my right wrist daily….
My Internet connectivity today is utterly craptastic. However, my SOTD is not… sampling Studio Red Rose from Soivohle. Boy, this is nice!
I guess spicy roses can play well in the summer heat.
In Monsieur Li today. I’ve been grabbing this one quite a bit this summer.
I’m pretty late to the party today, but I’m wearing Putain des Palaces. I wore Cuir de Lancome yesterday.
It was an Ylang 49 day, works well in the heat and humidity.
