FragranceLock is a new fragrance "finishing spray" that promises to make your perfume last longer on skin.
FragranceLock™, a revolutionary fragrance finishing spray that gives your fragrance longer lasting staying power, leaves a breathable mesh on the skin decelerating fragrance's natural evaporation cycle making fragrance last longer.
FragranceLock extends the overall long lasting efficacy of the fragrance and slows down its natural evaporation cycle. Testing demonstrated that FragranceLock helps perfume last for up to 12 hours or longer.
Apply your perfume, let your personal chemistry work its magic, let dry and spray FragranceLock™ over your fragrance. Unlike current practices of layering fragrance with similarly scented products, FragranceLock™ can be used with all fragrances, providing long lasting benefits. It boosts the overall efficacy of the fragrance keeping a woman's favorite fragrance in place longer.
FragranceLock debuts on HSN tomorrow, $34 for 80 ml.

I wonder if it then also diminishes the potency of the perfume? Should you apply 4x as much, then, for example, if this makes it last 4x as long?
I also wondered if it might change the drydown – not just the strength, but might different notes come out more or less?
When Angie reviewed the Concrete primer (see link above) she found that it essentially slowed down the development, but it didn’t really change it. No idea what this one would do.
Sounds like it would tamp down the projection though…
Quite possibly.
I feel very hesitant about spraying something like this on my skin.
Hello Petunia, just doing some research here… What makes you reluctant about this product usage? Thanks! -PK
