Christian Louboutin Bikini Questa Sera, Tornade Blonde & Trouble in Heaven ~ new fragrances

Christian Louboutin Bikini Questa Sera, Tornade Blonde and Trouble in Heaven

French luxury footwear brand Christian Louboutin will launch their debut fragrances, Bikini Questa Sera, Tornade Blonde and Trouble in Heaven.

Bikini Questa Sera ~ "Bikini Questa Sera takes the heat into the night. The heat of the day, sun on hot skin, the voluptuousness of the beach that she doesn't want to let go. Hold onto the intensity, feel the heat and the happiness, there is the scent of the sun and the scent of the sun becomes the scent of the woman as day turns into night. In the cool of the night air, the headiness of the fragrance shimmers still in the moonlight, jasmine and tuberose, opalescent against the skin. Intimate, hot and compelling, she is wearing only her Bikini Questa Sera. She went by so fast; she turned me upside down. I didn't see who she was, but she left all this golden light and luminosity. Was she dancing? I know she was laughing. I can't get her out of my head." With paradisone (Firmenich molecule; radiant floral), green nectars, jasmine, tuberose, sandalwood, vetiver and amber.

Tornade Blonde ~ "Tornade Blonde, not a colour, but a fragrance and a state of mind. The scent of love and adventure, a gorgeous red rose lies deep in a bed of sweet violet and cassis. Feminine and potent, animalistic yet floral, Tornade Blonde leaves a trail of light like a comet in the night. It is a burst of potent sensuality, an invitation to follow. Tornade Blonde is the scent of desire." With rhubarb, violet leaves, ambrette, cassis, rose, jasmine, orange blossom, gardenia, amber, cedar, sandalwood and patchouli.

Trouble in Heaven ~ "Trouble in Heaven is a fragrance that lights the fire. Mysterious and sexy, for the woman who wants to provoke and is at ease with her provocation. Turn heads, raise the heartbeat, be noticed, make dangerous liaisons. It is both intimate and overt, an intoxicating fragrance to wear close to you, to be loved by others. A second skin of perfect iris, patchouli and tonka absolut, resonates with the dry heat of oriental amber, makes Trouble in Heaven." With bergamot, cascalone (aquatic note), rose, iris, amber, patchouli, tonka bean and labdanum.

Christian Louboutin Bikini Questa Sera, Tornade Blonde and Trouble in Heaven will be available at Neiman Marcus, in 80 ml.

Update: Bikini Questa Sera and Trouble in Heaven were developed by perfumer Pierre Negrin. Tornade Blonde was developed by perfumer Olivier Cresp. The fragrances are $275 each and are in Eau de Parfum concentration. On the bottle design:

The twisting glass was based on the idea of folding surfaces, creating a loop which allows the perfume to flow around the central aperture, tapping into Louboutin’s fascination with the idea that “liquid is alive”.

Tornade Blonde sounds like I would want. Louboutin did a good job in his cosmetics so perhaps these will at least be decent or “bolder”?
Surprised the debut fragrance name isn’t something along the lines of “Red” or “Red Soul (Sole)”.

Who even knows what they’ll smell like, but those bottles are pretty spectacular.

I can’t make up my mind. I like that they suggest shoes without being shoes.

I might like them better if I saw each one separately, since all the colors together are a bit distracting. The twisty part is interesting, but the narrower, angular ends seem discordant. I do have to give them credit for coming up with something that doesn’t seem like a copy of an earlier bottle.

They look like flip-flops from above. I’m sure there’s a more elegant name for that type of sandal, but… (I won’t say “if the shoe fits… oops, I just did)

I kind of hate the bottles even though they remind me of these delicious Chinese cookies that are fried in that shape, then coats in such sugar syrup and sisters with decant send.

They’re cool technically but they look cheap to me. I’ll still sniff them though.

“Coats in such sugar syrup and sisters with decant send” must be autocorrect!

It is. Trace typing is not my friend. “Coat in a sugar syrup then sprinkled with sesame seeds.” I might have to quit being lazy.

Oh, weird autocorrect phrases are part of the joy of modern life. Keep being lazy.

Are these perfumes available in the US now? If not, when?!

No, and I don’t know, but if they’re already on the NM website, presumably within the next month or two.

Definitely a fan of CL shoes (but oh so pricey), so willing to give the fragrances a try.
Tornade Blonde sounds like it would be up my alley. Next time I go to NM, I will have to see if I can get some samples.

So happy they have decided to do interesting sounding fragrances instead of the expected sugar sweet calamity.
    Very excited.

I don’t know if anyone here remembers an AMAZING scent back in the day by Bijan called “DNA” But these bottles remind me of that bottle somewhat!

P.S. I hope to smell them all… they sound Terrific!

I’ve been so hard on new releases because of their derivative, take-no-chances bottles. All is forgiven…these are fabulous! They remind me of some of the blown glass pieces for sale to tourists at Six Flags!

I came across these at TK Maxx this week. Still retailing at £126 a bottle so won’t be blind bying.
