John Varvatos has launched Dark Rebel Rider, a new fragrance for men. Dark Rebel Rider is a flanker to 2015's Dark Rebel.
Fearless. Sleek. Unconventional. Inspired by the world of motorcycle racing and the iconic black leather jacket, this daring fragrance captures the essence of bad boy attitude and biker cool. The fragrance delivers a punch with a fearless blend of ultra sexy leather, ambery notes and dark woods that makes a statement of bold contrasts and restless energy.
Dark Rebel Rider was developed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The notes include bitter orange, citron, saffron, marjoram, hyssop, iris, osmanthus, black violet, rockrose, frankincense, bark resin, tolu balsam, Russian Leather, cocoa bean, vanilla, Atlas cedar, patchouli and tarred madras wood.
John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider is available now at Bloomingdales, in 125 ml Eau de Toilette.

I have no thoughts on the perfume, but love the name. It sounds like it could be the title of a long lost track by The Doors.
Ha, it probably is!
The name is excellent and the bottle is such a clever take on a black leather jacket. I vaguely wanted to sample Dark Rebel but forgot about it.
I liked the bottle for the original too…JV as a whole is underrated as a perfume line, IMHO.
