Karen Walker Hi There ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 22 June 2016 8 Comments

Karen Walker Hi There

New Zealand-based designer Karen Walker has launched Hi There, a new unisex fragrance.

Karen Walker’s sparkling new fragrance focuses on the energy and optimism that spills over into every aspect of the designer’s busy life. The free-spirited little sibling to the ABC Eau de Parfum trio, Hi There is classic Karen Walker: a scent that captures the designer’s love of contradiction and contrast — the dichotomy of the masculine and the feminine.

Clean, bright and dynamic, it leads with top notes of Italian lemon, green apple, green melon and pink peppercorn evolving through delicate heart notes of white rose, peach and lily of the valley to the deep forest undertones of cedarwood and amber – it’s a stunning Eau de Parfum designed for men and women.

Karen Walker Hi There can be found now at Harvey Nichols in the UK, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, £65.

“Hi there” in my best Freddie ” boom boom” Washington voice.

That might not be what Karen Walker had in mind ;-)

      Ha!

For me Karen Walker will always be the gin-soaked narcissist played by Megan Mullalley in the Will and Grace TV show.

I was going to post that the Will & Grace character is exactly who came to mind when I saw the article title! I really enjoyed that programme & thought that Megan Mullally’s portrayal was very funny indeed.

I love that bottle. It took me a minute to see the speech bubble. I hope NST-ers in the UK (or NZ?) will have a chance to sniff Hi There and let us know what it’s like.
