Elie Saab will introduce two new additions to La Collection des Essences: Essence No. 8 Santal and Essence No. 9 Tubéreuse. The last to join the series were Essence No. 6 Vetiver and Essence No. 7 Neroli. All were developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.
Essence No. 8 Santal (shown) ~ "Sourced from a protected tree genus in India, Sandalwood is ancient, noble and sacred to certain cultures. Essence No. 8: SANTAL balances structure with lushness: Virginian Cedarwood and Vetiver add verticality, while Cardamom and Chinese Osmanthus, in undertones of apricot and suede, soften and accentuate Sandalwood’s creamy facets."
Essence No. 9 Tubéreuse ~ "A flower celebrated for its imperial, iconic and almost intoxicating scent, Essence No. 9: TUBÉREUSE adds voluptuousness blended to precision. Bergamot from Italy, Cinnamon Bark from Ceylon, India, and a cocktail of white musks draw out the flower’s sweeter, more generous nature."
Elie Saab Essence No. 8 Santal and Essence No. 9 Tubéreuse launch in July, in 100 ml.
