Prada will launch La Femme Prada and L'Homme Prada, a new fragrance duo.
Man and woman are reunited in an identical vision. She could be him, he could be her. She is an absolute woman, he is an absolute man. There is not an obvious definition of relationship between them. They could be lovers, friends, or even strangers. Both have multiple identities.
La Femme Prada ~ "The essence of the House of Prada embodied by La Femme Prada. A grand floral that restlessly shakes off the clichés of femininity, La Femme Prada starts with a surprise – frangipani – cut with spice, beeswax and tuberose. The result is innocence undercut with carnality. Launched with L'Homme Prada, together they depict an olfactory pas de deux, a pairing of equals, regarding each other with studied admiration." In Eau de Parfum. [Additional notes include vanilla and vetiver.]
L'Homme Prada ~ "The essence of the House of Prada embodied by L'Homme Prada. A dialogic mix of Prada classics, Iris and Amber, superimposed on a base of neroli, geranium and patchouli. The character is airy but reserved, intellectual, challenging. Launched with La Femme Prada, together they depict an olfactory pas de deux, a pairing of equals, regarding each other with studied admiration." In Eau de Toilette.
Prada La Femme Prada and L'Homme Prada can be found now at Copenhagen Airport Duty Free, in 50 and 100 ml.

Update: La Femme Prada and L'Homme Prada were developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. The bottle backs are done in white (Femme) and black (Homme) Saffiano leather, and when the bottles are placed together, they form a full circle. The scents will debut in the United States in August. (via wwd)
Interesting for the L’Homme one. Looks like iris has a set place on our side now. The Femme one sounds pretty enough.
The Femme sounds great, but of course it may or may not be. The men’s sounds awfully close to a mix of Infusion & Prada Man, but we’ll see.
Yep, one thing we have learnt is that the notes do not really say about the impression one gets in the actual juice.
I bet Kerry Cook would love the gender scrambling of that press release!
I usually like Prada fragrances and the restrained bling of the bottles appeal to me.
lol ‘restrained bling’. Luckily, they have neutral shapes. If not, they would remind me of 1 Million gold nuggets 😉
Glad some are liking the bottles — I don’t like them at all, and they don’t say Prada to me.
Well I’m a magpie and the actual shape takes the edge off the…well, blinginess.
Of course, what the bottles look like in the photograph is not necessarily, at all, what they will look like in real life. The Poison Girl bottle comes to mind — it was lit to look lush and juicy in the ads, but in your hand it’s a wan, sad little mockery of the original.
The bottles look good and the notes sound promising. Will try both when I come across them. Wish they were both marketed unisex, though. It would be more cute&modern.
Prada had been churning out lots of fragrances lately! These both sound interesting from the notes, although the tuberose could be worrisome.
I think these will be number 3 and 4 from Prada this year.
Still I want to try them of course
This bottle remindes me of Lacoste Elegance Homme. Doesn’t seem prada at all. The feminine is quite interesting, the masculine seems more of the same of what they have been doing.
Pradaholic alert!
Will want to try these for sure.
The bottle looks less appealing than for Prada Infusions or Olfactories collection though.
INSTANT #BOTTLELUST!!!!!!
Will definitely try these when I see them in store. Hopefully they will be more available than all the new Infusions I so would love to try – the old ones, but Infusion d’Iris, have all disappeared from the stores here.
Not sure what I really think about those bottles, the cap seems a bit off. Anyway, If they are good, I really don’t care 🙂 a bottle can always grow on me if the scent is FB-worthy.
