British niche line Roja Parfums has launched two new unisex fragrances, A Midsummer Dream and Britannia.
A Midsummer Dream (shown) ~ "Concocted to entice the senses of both men and women alike, A Midsummer Dream by Roja Dove is an invigorating eau de parfum featuring a medley of musky, aromatic and powdery accords. The scent opens with bergamot and grapefruit before spiralling into a heart of rose, orange blossom, moss, patchouli, cardamom, elemi and pink pepper. While in the base, vetiver, cedar, benzoin, vanilla, carrot seeds, orris and musk leave a mesmerising trail." £295.
Britannia ~ "A lively fragrance guaranteed to entice the sense of both men and women alike, Britannia exudes both opulence and luxury. Featuring enchanting notes of cinnamon and clove, underscored by the warmth of patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood, this rich, unique blend leaves a mesmerising trail. “I wanted to create a very self-assured scent; something that feels familiar yet also unexpected… That sense of quality you can’t quite put your finger on, as I believe that is what the British are like.” - Roja Dove." £750.
Roja Parfums A Midsummer Dream and Britannia are available now at Selfridges in the UK.

I know its Roja Dove, etc etc, but still, at that price I would expect Puck’s original love potion.
I do think Roja Dove just charges whatever he likes, and somebody buys it.
Exactly Robin! It makes me mad seeing prices like the above just because a pretentious little snob can.. Never smelled any of his perfumes and I’ll never, ever will. Total pass for me.
I sniffed a few once – but not on skin as I couldn’t risk really falling in love! The bottles did smell really good. But, yeah, too far out of my income bracket to seriously investigate.
I have become pretty philosophical about this sort of thing — amused detachment, so to speak.
